Bang found it weird that Josef had believed Bang so easily. It was as if Josef wanted Bang's lie to be the truth. Either way, Bang did not care because his lie was believed.
He then shut up since Josef had already believed him. Like the wolf saying, if you already made the sale, then stop selling.
"See, you believe me, right? We are innocent."
Bang now drove a bargain towards Josef. He was already implying that he should not be in solitary confinement anymore.
"I believe you, but you are going to have to stay in this place for a little bit longer."
Although Josef said that he would save Bang from this solitary confinement, he was not sure that Josef would act upon it.
From Josef's face, Bang could tell that Josef was already forgetting Bang's presence. It was as if he was still enraptured by the idea that a Limaw had infiltrated the prison.
