Ligi looked at Jack as if he were a deranged man. From the descriptions that Jack had been telling them, the turtle was supposed to be strong enough to kill the hunter.
Now, Jack was telling them that they had been the ones to will the turtle into existence. The idea was too far-fetched to be believable, so of course, they did not believe Jack.
Ligi shook his head in disbelief and looked towards Bang, the person that he trusted the most. Bang did not say anything but nodded his head in affirmation.
Yoru also nodded his head as the last straw in the camel's back made Ligi consider the fact that Jack might have been telling the truth.
"What? I do not even understand what you are talking about. The turtle came from our weapons?"
Ligi tried to logic his way out of this situation, so he rationalized the situation. There must have been a valid explanation for what happened, or it could have been just a coincidence.
