Yoru felt the weight of the log in his chest, pushing every inch of oxygen in his lungs out into the fire. He could not feel anything, just numbness from the chaos that ensued all around him.
His vision became hazy, and all he could do was reach his hands towards Resi to try and get some help from him. Resi was the only one who was conscious right now, and he was the only one who could save all of them.
"Re...si....RE...SI!"
Yoru gathered all his last remaining strength to scream out his last cry for help. His vision slowly became dark, with Resi holding his head as his last sight.
Resi was on the ground, holding his knees on his chest and burying his head underneath it. He was cradling himself to sleep, seemingly troubled about something in his mind.
