Chapter 135 - Fire

This man did not have the aging wrinkles on his face or the melancholic scars plastered in his emotions, but Resi still recognized him.

 

He was speechless at seeing Yoru here in his dreams. He did not know what it meant, nor if it's true. He could only look on as Yoru took Resi in his arms and started to run away.

 

The fire had burned most of the house, and there was broken wood falling from the ceiling. One such log hit Yoru and Resi, but Yoru saved Resi from being hit.

 

Yoru was hit by the fiery log and started to close his eyes, exhausted and injure from the fire. Even though Yoru did not have to save Resi, he still braved himself and entered red the fiery abode.

 

Just as the fire would envelop Yoru's body, a bubble-like membrane appeared and saved him from certain doom.
