Resi used his shoulders to push away the door and reveal the freedom outside. He had not seen the sun in a long time, so he was expecting to see its bright light once again.
The door gave way under Resi's weight and was forced open. Resi had used all his strength, and he fell to the ground with Yoru's body in his hands.
Resi braced himself for impact as his body skidded on the pavement. He closed his eyes as he felt his head hit the floor. Once he opened his eyes, the dim and dark hallway greeted him.
It was not the sunny and bright scenery outside that he saw, but the same dark and depressing room seemed to be away from reality.
That was not the only thing surprising about the outside. Resi looked at his wet hands and saw that it was tainted with blood. He looked around and saw dead bodies with blood pooling underneath them.
