Yoru could barely see the man who saved him, and he passed out from exhaustion. The last thing he saw was the man shouting to the outside and reaching out towards him.
Yoru woke up to a sunny field where the grass was never ending. There were barely any clouds in the sky as it seemed like the air was peaceful.
The grass that he was stepping on was strangely soft like he was walking on silk. As he wandered aimlessly through the clearing, he heard voices in the distance. He recognized it to be a woman and a child.
As he got closer, he saw Cass in a beautiful white dress cradling her four-year-old son. She had a smile on her face that made her look immaculate.
The four-year-old boy was Peter, his son. He could tell from his face, and thankfully, he took after his mother. They were playfully innocent, and they did not notice Yoru walking towards them.
