Jacob pulled away from her and stared right on her eyes. "Are you alright? Did you get any cramps or sprain your ankle?"
She was shaking her head with a smile which made him sigh in relief. "Don't just stand behind me in silence. I was really startled."
"Sorry."
"No need to apologize." He gently rubbed her wet hair and smiled. "You can go back to your swimming. I'll be right here."
"Okay." With heart faltering in its beat, Hana swam away from him. She stopped in the middle of the pool and clutched her chest. "Hold yourself, Hana. You can't fall deeper for the boss." she whispered to herself.
Jacob looked down on his hands. He was so afraid that she'd trip and drown, reacting instinctively to it and pulling her in a tight embrace. The feel of her cool and supple body still lingered on his hands and he clenched-unclenched it.
