Many people marvel the power and glory of Magic Academy. After all, why wouldn't you? Their professors are the pioneers of the magic scene, constantly breaking the boundary of what was previously thought possible. At the same, its students are Arlus' rising heroes, valiantly fighting to quell uprisings of war while implementing ground-breaking magic technologies among the common people to try to make the world a better place. Their deeds almost demand for respect. Even the six Godkings, the overwhelmingly powerful rulers of the six races have shown their respect to the accomplishments of the Magic Academy.
But I won't.
I, Rynin Draconia, refuse to show any respect to those snivelling bastards. Even if my life is on the line, I would rather die a brutal and painful death than show respect to the cursed academy.
That sounded pretty arrogant, didn't it? Very arrogant, in fact.
Yes, I am arrogant. After all, I am a Dragonaut. We are infamous for our stubborn pride among the other races. There's a famous saying among Arlus about the mighty Dragonauts. It is said we would rather watch our homes burn to nothing than give up our pride. While seemingly an overstatement, it is not. I watched it happen.
On top of this, I'm also the son of the Draconic Godking, the strongest and most powerful of all the six godkings. Pride is swelling through my blood and there is no force that can even come close to quelling it.
But my arrogance is not why I despise Magic Academy. There is another reason; a reason far more sinister than my pride. And if this reason was exposed to the world, Magic Academy would no longer be marvelled and loved.
It would be utterly destroyed, its foundations overturned to its last stone.
This is the tale of how I, Rynin Draconia, a seemingly talentless and overly arrogant child, challenged the greatest magical academy known to Arlus with all odds against him.
