Mia's POV
To say today was not just another day. Today is what we all call miracle done my good Lord from heave.
OK I'm over - over double over excited and happy, but who won't right? 4 years of hard work is now paying off. On start of this bakery I didn't thought to be this success and her I am... Well OK I thought to be hell lot successful, who won't.
After receiving this amazing news, my staff with include jeo, siya- both are college students working part time, Ron our delivery guy when we are asked to deliver the orders, jung our second chef this guy is old in gold, Emily of course and I myself , we all thought to celebrate it.
It was something I have decided to do this celebration thing whenever we successed or we had a good business. One thing I know is, you have to encourage and help the one who helped you in you way to life. And this are the people cause of whom I'm here. We are each other ''s support. So yeah I'm quite cool boss ;).
Now to say my day was naturally happy and beautiful (though it's raining but we'll let's set it aside now, do we?)
Our celebration was not that big, it was kind of you know a school celebration like having ice-cream or cake with junk food. Yes same one, and we'll we are in bakery off course so cake's on the house, duh!
This blissful news was not far away from the ears of my dad. And all the credit goes to one and only my best friend or my dad's so called BFF Emily. Sometimes I think is she my best friend or my dad's? I mean come on they share each of my secret MY SECRET yes!! to each other. I mean dude I told one of you to keep secret and not to reveal even with each other. Its not like I have many dirty secrets though but still... Well whatever.... But I kinda enjoy it when they team up and pull my leg or when they prank hell out of me or when they gang up just to make me fill over protective. Well no I don't enjoy at all... Come on, no one will enjoy just thing, but I'm now immune to it and used to it. Now I can't survive without them and vice versa.
Dad called me saying " My my little fairy Princess have so much grown up." don't judge my nickname yes I'm my dad's still little fair Princess this sweet little gesture of my dad makes me fell in love again with him making me smile wide ear to ear. " Hey dada! So I think your BFF who is my BFF also have announced about the news" saying with a smile I looked at Emily. She rolled her eyes with a smirk of pride. She said " I didn't announced, I just told everyone" making it sound causal but I know the truth. Dad on the call laughed saying " you the that girl, she can be happy for anything related to you or bakery and now with this news she all over on cloud nine" he continued " let her stay there for a while" laughing and making me also giggle. " yes dada... I know that, I'm surprised we didn't saw or hear this news in TV, newspapers or radio though" I giggled more and dad laughed " yes I was equally surprised with it". This made Emily's eyes sparkle and giggled saying " well, good for you, I was just going to do as you have said to make that Jessica jealous is hell but then controlled myself so anyway she's gonna know when we are done with or project" complete her speech with a pride look with nose up in sky high.. You know like in cartoon we see.
Jessica our neighbour shop's owner, a hair salon. And yes Emily and Jessica never get together. Never ever... Don't even try it cause I did and it ended bad really bad.
Though Jessica herself has a egotistical personality. Sometimes she's mean but now we don't want to have a war in this beautiful heaven, now do we? So I keep cool between both Emily and Jessica to have peacefully environment here.
I shook my head to Emily and when back to talk dad when I heard mum speaking pr say scolding dad for not giving her phone to speak with me. I smile with their childish fight which takes place now and then and they surprising makes up within minutes. Cool right. I always wish to have same relationship in my future, with someone who will love me same way as mum and dad love each other.
This made me remind to him. Our fights or make up, our stupidity and most his eyes.
God...! This is second time I remembered of him... I'll go crazy like this, I thought mentally pulling my hair.
" Mia.. Mia... Sweetie can you hear me? "
I heard from the other side of the call." yes mumma I can loud and clearly hear you, my sweet beautiful mumma " My mum aww! Saying" oh Lord my daughter is so strong and intelligent, baby you have made me and your dad so proud " and now I'm sure she would have teary eyes and her voice get a little bit heavy that no one could find but me.
" oh my mumma, I'm happy that I made you proud " I continued saying" mumma, we just got the deal now main work have yo be start. And that's the end "explaining her I made a mental remark to talk with my staff about the arrangements and work." sweetie, I know you will do whatever you have thought, you are this up high without any help" I smiled with her statement. Emily was all time looking at me now with raising her eyebrows indicating how is on the call, I mouthed saying mumma.
She grabbed my phone, and I was like " oh, emy slo...and here she goes"
And Emily started talking to mum. After her mother's death my mum made decision to make Emily her rightful daughter after me of course which me and dad agreed obviously.
Sometimes I think Emily cope up with her mother's death just cause of my mum ''s help. And that made a unbreakable relation between them. And I'm happy that my best friend and my family goes together hand in hand. I let her talk with my mum which took a while.
I now started thinking about what work has to be done today as we have few orders to deliver and now that bakery is just going to start for the day. I still have to make a plan and discuss about this work deal with my staff in their break. Cause this deal is a deal to success and I'm not going to mess it up.
Thinking about all this stuff I didn't notice when jeo and Siya entered the bakery and I was huged to tight by a thin skiny girl, yes that's siya. "congratulations sis, I'm so so happy for you and our bakery" well she hug pretty tight I must say. " siya dear, care to loose a little" I said with a little giggle, she loosed her hug and said " I was so shocked and excited when I was message form emy you know" I laughed " yes me to when she rushed in to bakery and exposing this amazing news" I said while holding hands of siya and we laugh. " Congo sis" that was jeo he came to us and side huge me. " thanks dude, this is all because of all of you and not only me... So congratulations to us!!" jeo smile and said " yes yes! As you say master" bowing dramatically making me and siya laugh.
" oh what is this girl talking so loud, is she talking to alien in Mars or what " hers comes our old in gold jung making us all look towards him." J, you know when emy is excited no one can handle her " I said with a gentle smile and jeo and siya agreed with me." ah she is never going to change, but boss congratulations to the deal you have got " he continued" this girl did one thing best in starting of day is giving this new " he laughed" yes J, she did, didn't she " i said giving him a side huge. Jeo and siya wished morning to jung as him being elder. Jeo said teasingly " J, my old fellow now you are getting too old don't you think, look I can see wrinkles all over your face " with that cat and dog fight started I and siya shook our head and said at a time " oh god", " there we go again ". We looked at each other and laughed. In mean time Emily entered.
" so done with the talk? " I asked Emily and she said yes." OK guys, now that day has just started why don't we all continue with our regular routine and I'll make some plans till then and will meet in break to discuss " I spoke like a boss and they all agreed with me taking there places to ho with the daily flow of the day.
