Chapter 5 - CHAPTER FIVE

SHAINILL AL-ZHAD'S POV

"SIRE! SHAINILL AL-ZHAD"

"Salem, when did you become such an irritating person?" I know this guy was only looking out for me because we've friends since when we are young and now he works as my personal assistant but lately he's getting on my nerves.

Salem wanted me to get settled down and married as ordered by the Sheikh Zekeil, to produce a male heir for the throne and sadly he's also my biological father, but I haven't found someone whom I wanted to get married.

This is my life's purpose as the 2nd Prince of Badarraz, an Arabian country in the middle east. I am only a mere shadow of dear older brother, Jarem Al-Zhad, his forever replacement in our father's eyes.

Unfortunately, Jarem and his wife Rebecca died in a plane crash going to a diplomatic mission in the Kingdom of Corinthian in the mediterranean sea and left a daughter behind when they died from that crash.

Silicia was only 2 year old when Jarem and Rebecca died in that Airplane crash and it's been almost 6 years since then. After the day we receive the news, Sicilia, my niece, started to call me father instead of uncle.

Silicia definitely have the Al-Zhad bloodline because she was quick, smart and a beauty at the young age and she also inherited the famous purple eyes of the Al-Zhad women, but in terms of personality she was like Jarem, sensitive and kind.

Jarem was born by the first wife of our father, the first Sheikha of our country, Badarraz and many said that Jarem was like the first Sheikha because how sensitive, sweet and kind he was to everyone.

My lovable brother was so love by many and they simply adored him because his warm personality, he was the sweetest man until the very day he died and father always favored him and care him but neglected me and my mother.

My mother was a gypsy woman that he got impregnated when he visit another country for a diplomatic mission but unfortunately she died in childbirth and my grandmother brought me to the Sheikh of Badarraz.

The Sheikha was in joyous moment because his son will have a little brother but my very own father was not in delight of my arrival in his country and my grandmother peacefully passed away after a month of our arrival.

Shakirah, the Sheikha of Badarraz was a great woman, she warmly and greatly took care me like her own son until she passed away when I was 12 and Jarem was 16 and that was also the very day that my father gave me wake-up call.

My father, the great Sheikh started to separate and differentiate, I and my brother because of the future of the throne, as the time goes by, he suddenly started to be cruel and harsh towards me, while he always admired Jarem in achievements.

He was only unhappy about my brother when Silicia was born and Rebecca cannot get pregnant again because of an illness in her womb. Father almost got Sicilia killed when she born and Rebecca assassinated because he she cannot get him a boy for the throne.

My lovable brother doesn't believe in polygamy and we also both promise to our dearest mother that we will not build a harem like our father. We would only love one woman and always faithful to our wife until we die.
