Diana saw the sadness from Ron's words. She thought that's why he changed and it wounded his past. Diana asked if she could look around and read some from the shelves. Unfortunately he couldn't let her for each book have it's masters and if she still insisted it would flung her out the door.
" Then, how would someone know who their master is?" Diana asked Ron.
" Somehow it's intimate interaction, the gut feeling and your questions wanted to be answered," Ron responded. "It's not random just by looking at an ordinary book in the library, it's charged by your manifestation to feel and read related to your questions." Ron looks through each book and picks one from the left shelves.
"Like this one, my first and favorite book." Ron opens and shows to Diana and Ceil.
"It's blank—." Diana is confused.
"What? There is nothing written on." Ceil followed Diana from behind and saw the open book.
"It appears to you there has not been anything written, but for me each word and expression I can see it thoroughly," Ron looking at the book. "Because you were not it's masters. Even if I lent it to someone and showed it to you guys to see." Ron astonished them at what real magick there was.
"There is no possible way for us to read them carelessly and serve it's wisdom to us that we cannot understand," Ron's looking up at the top shelves. "In each of us there is a seeker and manipulators." Ron then looks at them if they get what he meant and yet they're just awkwardly standing there confused themselves.
" I couldn't help you if you want to read some of them but there will come a day you can open all of them by yourself and see it for yourself, if they let you to." Ron tells Diana who still hopes to read some of it.
"Someone's coming, you guys need to go." Ron hurried them towards the door.
"But you say it will be different from the outside?" Diana asked.
"Yes, and there's still time to escort you out before I am found out. Therefore, I don't have the permission to bring others that aren't part of the Witch Station." Ron sneaking them out from the door.
Ron secured the area and was able to deliver them back to the bus station safely.
He abides his goodbye and advises them to stay away from dark places.
"What time is it?" Ceil asked Diana.
"It's quarter to seven in the evening." Diana looked at her wrist watch.
"It seems that the time has stopped and it's ticking so slow." Ceil abruptly recalls Ron telling them about the time and space.
"I see, so this is how it goes." Ceil looking up and see the sky is clearly full of stars tonight and shines everywhere they wanted to be.
"Someday maybe we will understand Ceil." Diana also looking at the stars that she felt she longing for something else.
Meanwhile, Ron Nux got back to Witch's Station after escorting Diana and Ceil on their way home. He sat back at his study table and where there are monitors on the walls watching the areas where the witch trespasser, goblins, fairies, daemon violators for common peace. He saw on one of the monitors was Rose Ann Gray.
" Just got in time." Ron sigh relief he hasn't caught yet.
"Wonderful evening Ron, how's your report going?" Rose walks over to Ron's study table.
"It's fine I can handle it without your help anyway." Ron adjusted his seat forward.
"Big talker but at the end Ms. Perrin reconstructs your report." Rose getting her tools prepared to energise the barrier for unable to detect them so easily.
"Well I'm sorry for not being good at explaining myself and Ms. Perrin hasn't got a problem with it and just let slides it together with her documents" Ron sneered at Rose's claims.
" What makes you believe that?" Rose teases Ron.
" Nah, i just know." Ron pulls out a candy and offers Rose.
"I'm good, I might get a sore throat." Rose refused.
Ron just shrugs.
"What's that smell all of a sudden? Did you change the fragrance?" Rose notices that other than the honey sweet lemon there is some kind of strawberry fragrant startled her.
"What do you mean? Oh maybe my musk cologne a new product launch from Calvin Klein perfume." Ron searches for an excuse.
"Musk?" Rose gets more confused.
"Why do I smell strawberry instead? I'm not a fan of that kind of flavour nor perfume. Even though I am a woman myself, it's too sweet that itches my nose." Rose hates strawberry in any variety of goods.
Ron's internally screaming what to do next, he imagines himself sweating and a freezing bucket of water flashed over him.
"Yeah that's the new way of mixing perfume together and musk especially for men like me who also wanted some sweet feeling and that let my feminine side." He hilariously demonstrates runway and swaying softly his hand and caressing Rose's chin gently.
"Fine, fine I get it, letting out your feminine side is obviously needed to balance yourself and I won't judge, and hands off at my chin." Rose snapped Ron's fingertips out of her chin. Then, Rose sprayed honey sweet lemon to make the strawberry scents faintly away.
Ron sat back at his study table and continued writing his report from the incident earlier on that day until he met Diana and Ceil stalking him in the alley. He looked up at his watch and forgot it simply stopped when they were inside the Witch's station. He then realized there's a wall clock at the center of the living room which makes him uncomfortable to see the time, not only because it is too large; rather the arms were written in numbers every movement becomes seconds to minutes, minutes to hours.
"Oh boy still can't find how it works." Ron just stares at the clock waiting to tell him the exact time verbally.
"Ron, it will not talk unless you just observe." Rose told him just to observe instead of waiting for an answer that was nearly possible.
" It's simple," Rose said. "You see there's three arms, small, medium, and large. The smaller one represents minutes, the medium represents hours, and the larger represents years. Though, the larger arm represents years it does not mean as the outside world of the 2000's rather it tells past, present and future events aligned in every realm." Rose explains how the Witch's station clock works and a valuable monitoring tool among the other tools.
"Is that why Ms. Perrin uses it and becomes the size of the ceiling to watch and see what is going on, before it even happens in the real time?" Ron realized when Ms. Perrin picked up the walk clock and magnified it like a projector, opened only after their shifts had ended. Ms. Perrin can only access it like a map in Jumanji.
" So it explains why Ms. Perrin left alone and had the access within the clock." Ron realized the real monitoring was engaged.
"Why can't we have access like Ms. Perrin?" Ron asked.
"Why? I don't know." Rose responded.
"Each of us will know if we are ready to handle the high ranking Witch of the 155th generation." Rose scoffs Ron's question that they still cannot handle yet the time and space metaphors by themselves.
"There is another witch who can open and have access to the map of realms." Rose had read some of that Ms. Perrin journal that the person is still missing and believed to have died during the civil war of the witches.
"Who might that be?" Ron asked.
"Mavie Urich, the Witch prodigy. She excels the witch's law of nature and completed the deity's witchcraft. The most powerful witch could ever have but now she's nowhere to be it has been passed down to her lineage and made it right once more." Rose elaborates.
"Did someone kill her?" Ron asked.
"I don't know but it's a war so it might be a random witch who had killed her." Rose assumption.
