I'm a little bit dizzy when I stood up and tried to went out of my room. Like what I am expecting after spending one week inside my room without eating nor drinking.
I held the table next to me to help me stood up and get something to eat. What am I even thinking? Spending one week without eating? It's hilarious. I know Mom and Dad will get mad. "But they are gone.." I whispered to myself.
I shook my head and gave myself way to the kitchen. There's a cup of noodles above the cabinet so I get that and boil some water. "This will do, at least I have something to eat." I begun to cry silently while imagining my parents reaction if they see me being this.. ridiculous.
"I'm sorry, Mom and Dad. I just can't process to my mind that you're now gone. I just can't. Why did you leave me alone? Like this." My tears slowly fell from my eyes.
My attention was caught when the water is done boiling. I sighed and do what I should do to be able to eat a cup of noodles.
Maybe I should start exploring this city, I mean, I'm living here for almost half of my life but I'm still not used to this place since I'm always inside this house. I sipped the soup in the noodles and get myself a glass of water.
That's right. At least, somehow, I'll forget that my parents is gone.
I stood up and went outside wearing a pink dress while my hair are in a ponytail. I don't have someone familiar with since I'm an introvert.
I looked around the place outside my house. It's amazing. There are people whose selling foods, citizens buying and children playing freely. How come I didn't know I am living in a place like this?
I took my step and explore the city more. I just can't believe I waisted 18 years inside my house and didn't bother to look outside the window of my room.
I saw a strawberry stall beside me. "Maybe that's where Mom bought me a strawberry I really like." I come near the stall and approach the old man.
"Hi, how much is this?" I asked while pointing at a bunch of strawberries.
The old man smiled. "It's 50. Are you new here?" He asked.
"Not really."
"Do you like strawberries?" He asked. I smiled. "Yes. My Mom loves to buy me strawberries."
"Since you're a cute girl, I will give this to you for free." He handed me the bunch of strawberries. "Oh, thank you."
'I didn't thought people here are kind' I thought to myself.
"You're welcome. Nice meeting you, bunny girl." He said. I waved my hand at him and walk away, while eating the strawberries he gave me.
I was walking happily while chewing my strawberries when a man suddenly ran into me, causing me to back off and laid my ass on the floor. "Holy." I said while looking at my strawberries.
The man held my hand and helped me stood up. He's a half wolf. "I'm sorry. I'm in a hurry." He said and leave me alone after getting up.
I looked at him while he's running.
"What a jerk. Are you okay?" A half cat girl asked and helped me pick up my strawberries.
"Men here is really full of jerks." I saw her rolled her eyes.
After putting all the strawberries back to it's bucket, we both stood up.
"Thank you for helping me." I smiled.
"No worries. Are you new here? Your face is not familiar with me." She said while looking at my face.
"I live here but I didn't went out of my room ever since. Just now." Her mouth formed and 'o'.
"You don't have friend? No offense, huh?" She chuckled.
"Yeah. I don't have any."
"Let's be friends then. My name is Natalia." She offered her hand, I willingly hand shake with her.
"I'm Selca—" Our conversation was cut when we heard a loud bang.
I covered my ears and looked where the bang was from.
"We are being attacked!" A half dog girl shouted while running towards my direction.
"Run, Selca!" Natalia said and pull me inside the house beside us.
We we're silently looking outside where no half humans can be found anymore.
"What's happening?" I asked to Natalia.
"Maybe humans decided to attacked us and owned our village." She said, whispering.
"Humans?"
"Pure humans."
