Supreme Doctor: The Unruly Third Miss

When she opened her eyes she was blinded by the sunlight for a second. She closed her eyes and covered it with her right hand. Suddenly she felt a throbbing pain on her forehead, just above her hairline.
She reached her hands and touched the place of pain. Her hands were met with a wet liquid. She immediately sat up and examined her hand. It was covered with blood and she blanked out for a moment. She recovered quckly as she remembered the blast in her lab.
She was in the middle of an expiriment when a blast sounded from behind her. Before she could turn back she was thrown away by the force of it. She had hit her head on something and blacked out.
She looked around. Its not her lab but a forest. She scrached her head as she thought how she ended up here. Her hand stoped scraching and stared to caress her hair.
"weird, when did my hair became so smooth? " She wondered aloud as she got up from the ground. While doing so she got a glimpse of her outfit. It was light pink colered skirt and robe. Her eyes went wide when she recognized them as the costume of ancient dramas.
She streched out the skirt to take a good look of it. But the hands that reached to grab skirt shocked her so much that she nearly screamed aloud.
It was a small and delicate hand, whiter then the first snow Instead of her long painted nails it had pink small ones. It was rather adorable. The skin was so smooth and white, she thought it would start bleeding if she pinched it.
She panicked and started to touch her face and body. She had a small face, round eyes with long eyelashes, small nose and heart shaped lips. She sat heavily on the ground.
She knew what this meant, she had read enough webnovels to know what happening. She breathed in and out to calm her nerves and then shouted out

She was trying to find what to do when a blinding light suddenly appeared infront of her. She covered her eyes and only looked through her fingers. The glow of the light faded and she could make out a figure. It felt like he was standing in think fog and she couldnt make out any specific features or clothes.
She frowned and was about ask who it was when an ancient and majestic voice echoed throughout the place
"Iam sorry if I have offended you, but before anything else you should watch this"
He gave her a smart phone and she took it while doubting where does this old man with a smart phone came from.
She the watched the video footage It was a news video. The women was reporting the murder of a famous docter and the screen showed two people surrounded by police.
She instantly recognised them as her boyfriend Jacob and co-worker Elisa. According to the news the blast was not the reason for her death but a deathly poison released in the room after she fainted.
She sighed and closed her eyes. She had always kept people out of her heart to avoid the pain of separation. She had never thought such a habit would shield her from a huge blow of betrayal. She was attracted to Jacob but had kept her heart away from him so she was not that hurt.
She opened her eyes and looked at the figure in front of her. She knew she was dead and was not asking him to take her back there.
"Are you implying that I am supposed to thank you and live the rest of my life as this girl?" She questioned him
"No, you misunderstood my intention. I was merely showing you the true face of your lover. As for the matter of living here, can't you consider it as an adventure trip? " He paused but before she can answer he continued. " I know it's hard for a 21st century girl to lead a life here so to lessen your problems I can gift that to you" He pointed at the smart phone in her hands.
She frowned and was ready to ask how much a phone could help her life. It could only provide a little entertainment, but is that what she want? But the man spoke again
"It's not just a smart phone. it could provide you most of the things you'll need from your world like food, cloth and medicine. " There was a smile in his voice like he was pleased with himself.
In her opinion its not a big deal. He is forcing her to live a life here and if didn't atleast provide some aid it will be forced slavery. Even though this man is polite with her she could sence he possess formidable power. So denying him was not an option.
She sighed again and said. "okey"
The man laughed out loud and said " so from today you are Bai Xiaolian. Go and start your new life" He laughed again.
A new life. From now on her name is Bai Xiaolian not.... not what? what was her name? She frowned and was about ask the man but found herself alone in the forest. It must be his doing. She gritted her teeth and walked towards the direction of her house.
But a single thought drifted through her mind ' why her ' But as she could not find an answer she put that question into the deeper parts of her mind, because she knows sooner or later she will get the answer.
