"Today. Today is my last day. The day when I have to sign the property papers along with my death."
Paulo scrutinised me, staring directly at my face for a minute.
"What are you looking at?" I asked him.
He shook his head with a hint of a smirk. "You know that King needn't wait for three months to kill you."
"Not you too. I am tired of listening to the same thing." I groaned.
"Well... if you have heard it often then there must be some base to it, isn't it?" He stood up and went inside the house to get more beer for him.
I gave mulled over what Paulo said. I have thought about it before many times. But every time my mind got tired to think of any reason. So, the only reason for this that I could come up with was the devil was unpredictable and control freak jerk who act only that he pleased.
