BRIA
I was in a dilemma and didn't know what to do. For a split second, my eyes caught the devil's face. It was as blank as a stone except the nerve showing off on his forehead. Somehow he looked at me at the same time, and I noticed that his brown eyes were staring right at me. I saw his goggles at some distance. They must have fallen during the fight.
He held my gaze a little longer than expected in this situation, then nodded his head subtly... just enough to get noticed by me. Then turned his attention to the task in the hand.
I took the gun, the cold metal felt alien to my hands. I pressed it to my chest, closing my eyes. Smiling faces of Benji and kids flashed in front of my eyes. With determination, I opened my eyes again.
"I trust you too, Fire" Cameron smiled dizzily at me.
I recalled just two months ago, I touched the weapon for the first time to save my kids from the man, and now I again took the weapon to save the same man.
