Sammy's POV
"It’s so pretty here!" I excitedly blurted out when we reached the peak of the mountain we just hiked. It took us hours before we made it here on top.
"I told you. If you gave up a while ago, you will never see this.” He said as he smiled at me.
"How do you know this place?” I asked while I am still wandering my eyes on the sight this mountain top has to offer.
It is magnificently beautiful!
"I know this place since high school. I was supposed to bring you here before…” he simply answered which I deliberately shrug because I am still busy admiring the sight before my eyes.
Silence engulfs us for a few moments before he speaks.
"Sam, thank you,"
I looked at him with a creased forehead.
"For what?"
"For everything. For being here with me. For giving me a chance. Thank you because you’ve played along with what I want to do for a week.”
