Sammy's POV
"Sam, honey… are you sure you'll be okay here? You know you can go with me to the company.” My Mom convinced me again.
"Mom, promise I'll be okay here. Besides, I want to take some rest.” I politely answered while she is carefully examining me with her naked eyes.
I heard her sigh after.
"Okay, fine. But if ever you change your mind, just call Joel so that he can drive you to either VMA or Piamonte Corp. And if you want to go out, make sure to get our go signal first, alright? I’ll go ahead.” My Mom reminded me once again.
"Yes, Mommy. Take care, mom." I responded before I kiss her on her cheeks.
I quickly lie down on my bed again once my Mom shut the door of my room. I decided not to go to school since Wednesday because I have no business there. I am exempted from all our exams. It’s Friday today.
