Sammy's POV
"Uhm, Justin…" I called out to Justin who’s now so focus on driving.
We're now on our way to school. He fetched me at home and my Mom decided to invite him to go over breakfast.
"Hmm?" he responded without looking at me.
"I want to say something.”
"What is it?"
I’m about to do the right thing, right? I mean, being friends with someone you had a past with is not wrong, is it? But somehow, I still can’t help to think about how Justin would feel.
"Promise me first that you wouldn't get mad,” I said which made him took a glance at me before he looks straight ahead again.
"It depends, Janna. I will get mad when it is reasonable for me to get mad.”
I took a deep breath before I speak again.
"You said that we have to be honest with each other, right? No keeping secrets? We talked… Allen and I. He wants us to be friends again.” I continuously said while I’m looking at him. I am observing his facial reaction and body movements.
