Allen's POV
Now, seeing her in pain for hours really my heartaches. I winced and cringed for every contraction she's feeling. It makes me feel so frustrated because I know I can't do anything to ease or take the pain away.
We are not alone right now since we have a nurse on standby. My aunt which is her ob and Nikki, our baby's pediatrician, are also constantly checking on her.
"Can you still feel the contractions?"
"Not right now..." my wife answered breathlessly.
"Now I want you to concentrate on your breathing."
Sam nodded and keep on doing what her nurse said.
"You're doing an amazing job, babe. I'm so proud of you." I kissed my wife on the cheeks and knelt in front of her.
Hours passed and Sam is still in labor. And it keeps on getting more painful.
"Oh God, it hurts!" she cried as she grips the white sheet of the bed tightly.
"Keep calm and breathing, Sam. You're almost there. You're doing great." the nurse encourages her.
