The Alpha tried for three days to get answers from the rogues. No one would talk, he was getting upset. Why wait till the Luna was going to have a baby to try and kidnap her? What was so special about her now? After a week of his distress I couldn't take it anymore, I offered to help.
"Alpha, if you want I will talk to them. If anyone knows anything about it I will find it. I ask that only Joshua go in the room with me. Otherwise it will be harder to get the answers we need."
"If you can find out why they would want to hurt my Luna then you can do whatever you think best. Joshua will protect you, of that I have no doubt. When would you be willing to do this?"
" Now is fine if you want me to."
"Yes please, I wouldn't have you do it but I need answers."
"I understand Alpha, we will go to the cells right away."
As Joshua and I walk over there he asks me," Are you sure your up for this? I like it better when you heal, not hurt people."
"I know but if it helps to save the Luna then I will hurt them if I have to. She was the first person to accept me even after she found out about my skills. She helped me with you. I kinda think of her as my mother, she helped me with so many things in such a short time. I feel like I owe her. Even if I have to hurt someone I will. Does that make sense?"
"Yes, I understand what you mean. Just be careful. If you find anything we can use then open to me and I will show the Alpha. I will be right next to you the whole time."
"I know you will, that's why I love you."
"Wait what did you say?"
I smile at him and laugh out loud before I say," I love you."
"Do you mean it? You love me? I have wanted you to say them forever. You know I love you to."
" I know you do, but I wanted to make sure you knew how I felt about you. You have done so much for me. You have been so patient with me. You even found my friends for me when you didn't have to. I love you for all of that and more. And you might want to know I'm pregnant."
He grabs my arm turns me to him and almost yells in my face," WHAT? Are you sure? Of course your sure. How far along are you? Can't be that far. Are you sure you should do this then? Could this hurt you?"
"Okay first of all you need to calm down, I am only two weeks along. I just heard the heartbeat today. This is done mentally so nothing happens to my body. Yes I will be tired but still I will be okay. Besides I have created a protective shields around the womb so the only way to hurt the baby is for me to die. And I know you won't let that happen."
"No I won't, but now I will be more protective than ever you know that right. No one will touch you from now on."
Laughing I say," Now I don't think you have to go that far. But if it makes you feel better then it's okay with me. Now shall we get this over with."
Joshua opens the door and looks at Sam," have they givin you any trouble?"
"No, no one has said a word since the Alpha left this morning."
"Okay we will start at the end cell and work our way this way. Don't be worried if it's quiet, come running if it gets noisy."
"You got it, Sui would kill me if anything happens to Summer."
We walked down to the end cell. I walked in after he opened the door then I looked into the man's eyes and his whole life story was spread out before me. But I didn't see anything about the Luna. It was the same with man number two and three. Then when I get to the fourth man I learn a few things. I open up to Joshua, he in turn opens up to the Alpha. It turns out this man is the Alpha of the pack, he is not happy with his Luna so he decided he wants our Luna. Within a minute the Alpha is next to us. He grabs this man as Joshua moves me away and the Alpha beats the holly hell out of the man. When he is done it lets everyone else go and leaves the Alpha in the cage. He refuses to let me heal him and we all leave the building. He even has Sam walk away from the building. The Alpha just locks the door. Then we walked back to his house. There he told Teressa it was all over. He turned to me and said," Thank you for all your help. I am so glad your here."
" I'm just happy to help Alpha. Now if you will excuse me I need a nap."
" Of course my dear sleep well."
Joshua and I go back to our house. The first thing he does is hug me and kiss me, then we go to the bedroom. As we walk in the door I start laughing. He gives me a strange look and asks," Why are you laughing?"
"Because it's this room that caused this." as I put my hand on my stomach. He looks at my hand and puts his hand over mine," aren't you happy about the baby?" " Of course I am I was just thinking if I wasn't already I would be soon because of how much time we spend in this room." Then he understands why I was laughing and he starts doing it. " But you have to admit you like everything we do in this room."
"Yes I do, I never said I didn't. Shall we go in now?"
We went in our room, and we spent the rest of the day there.
