"What happened?" I heard Goldy asking me.
I was in a trance of some sort, I guess. I just couldn't remember why I was spacing out for.
"I don't know, man. It just felt like I was out of commission for days." I just made up a lie on the spot.
"Well, understandable. Since that Guo Ning is taking his sweet time to come by, I'm feeling the same way as well." Goldy replied.
"I didn't mean it like—wait, I definitely meant it like that." I chuckled.
I thought of explaining what I meant by saying the thing, but it seemed too much of a hassle, so I left it the way it is.
"Ha… You tend to forget about my skills at times, don't ya?" Goldy asked.
I'm sure he's talking about how he can hear me saying this, but oh well.
"Nah, it's not like I'm gonna forget it any time soon with you telling me about it for the billionth time." I smirked. "I mean, why even tell it? You can simply hear it and leave it alone, right?" I asked.
