Upon realising her extra reaction, Rania cough a bit and changed her face reaction,she stood up straight looking at him. With a cold and expressionless face she asked him..
"so i guess you're the bodyguard that my grandfather mentioned?" She's back to her business tone mode.
"yes,from now i'll be guarding and protecting you from unnecessary things,"his voice is still sound sexy as it used to,and he doesn't seem changed much in this past years,just looking more mature and masculine then before...unlike her.
"fine then,before you start your work,there are a few things i need to explain to you, First, i know you work under my grandfather and you will only follow his instruction, so for me to fire you is completely useless so i won't fire you but that doesn't mean that i allow you to get involve in my life,Second,we both know that we know each other in the past but now the situation has change! you're now work under me so you must treat me as your big boss and obey with all my instructions. Third, i don't want you to see me as a weak girl waiting for a man to protect her,i'm not that kind of woman,i can protect myself and know how to take care of myself so your presence is not really needed,"Ryan looked at her with an intense stare. He wonder if he ever angered her. Slowly a sweet but yet seductive smile spread across his handsome face, showing his rows of white and beautiful teeth.
Rania looked at him and a bit stunt. Just like it used to be,she was attacked by that sweet smile again but it still looking a bit innocent in her eyes.
She frowned,hated that feeling again.
"why are smiling? do you take me as a joke?"
"Are you angry with me Rania?" She smirked upon hearing that question.
"excuse me Mr Ryan,do you realize who you're talking to? come again? Rania??"his smile slowly faded from his face and now he looked at her with a serious face realizing that was actually serious. He never expect their first conversation will be like this and to think that he actually have been missing her all day and night. It's hurt actually. Before this he only watched over her from afar and never know how she think of him so he doesn't really know.
'That's okay Ryan,it doesn't matter if she hates you at least you finally can talk to her this time,no more watching from afar,'
"i'm sorry Miss Rania for my rudeness,i know you feel uncomfortable with my present around you but you don't need to care about it,you can just ignore me and i'll do my job by protecting you,"
Ryan walked to her and put the chairs back in the right position before standing in front of her.
"well that's good then,you can go now,"she sits down and continue her work,completely ignoring who still standing beside her.
"why are you still here?"without lifting her head she asked him.
"i'll take my leave now,"slowly he took a few step back and heading towards the glass door.
'what do you expect Ryan? you want her to welcome you with open arm?but why is she so annoyed with me? like i've done something that make her mad,'
Rania leaned her body on the chair and closed her eyes. Never expect this day will come,she never expect she will meet him again in this type of situation.
"facing him everyday? what type of shit is this?i've enough of all the problems that happened and now i have to face him?"
After taking Rania's shcedule for the whole month from Miss Gee,he entered the car and stayed there for a few minutes. Still thinking with what is happening to her. In about 30 minutes,she will have a meeting with a client at a 5-star hotel,Hotel Billy Dally.
He took out his phone.
"Hello Elvis,where are you now?"
"i'm at home enjoying my unlimited happiness," he could even heard him eating snacks and the loud sound from the tv.
"yeah unlimited happiness...now i came with all the bills,i've recommend you to Master Wong as his new bodyguard and he needed your present today,"he only need to wait.
"ohh yeahh hmm good then..,"he still eating snacks.
2 seconds later,
"wait! what??!! no!!"
"you heard me clearly, i pitied you for being a faithful unemployed man after ending your contract as Mr Gu's bodyguard so i suggest you to Master Wong and he approved it,"
"why the fuck didn't you told me?!" Ryan could hear clearly the sound of him moving so fast and running all around.
"i tried to tell you,but you were drunk last night crying and talking about life and regret,and then you pass out,when i tried to tell you this morning you're still sleeping,but it's okay you still have time,"
"ohh fuck! i don't remember where i kept my socks!I swear i clip it on the hanger!" before washing up he wanted to get everything ready so he only need to wear it once he's done showering.
"that sock have been there for about a month,i bet it has flown away,just take my sock then," Ryan smiled thinking his bestfriend attitude.
"ouhh thank you so much!! i promise i'll buy you a new one,"
"ok then don't be so nervous,with your talent you're good enough for that job,don't worry i've put your name on the list at Mr. Lee,so he knew this already,"the he glanced at the outside window and saw Rania's figure from afar just walking out of the building.
"i've to go now,goodluck,"
"thank you man!"
Ryan drove the car towards her and stopped in front of her. His job has started.
