Chapter 9 - Chicken Fu

"You want me to be a body guard?" Henry asked Fury in uncertainty.

"This man is a witness to a huge conspiracy and those involved will try all their best to kill him," Fury answered without hesitation. Henry nodded at this.

"What is the end game here? I have to kill him after I finish my job?" Henry asked but Fury shook his head.

"That's not the mission. All you have to do is protect him against any harm. If he gets a stomach ache I must know about it! If he gets a splinter I must know how you bandaged it. If he get shot at, I want that bullet to hit your unyielding chest. I don't want any thing to harm the man in the next 48 hours," Fury commanded him.

"Sure thing, bossman," Henry answered.

"Did you grow taller too?" Fury asked when Henry was about to get out of the office, making him stop and look back at Fury.

"An awakening, actually," Henry answered, curtly. Fury frowned at this.

"How powerful are you now?" Fury asked.

"Too powerful to do a bodyguard job," Henry answered and then walked out. Fury pressed a button under the desk. There were whirling sounds coming from the walls then he took his phone and dialed a number.

"Is the thing ready?"

"I am trying to track down a man who apparently my has a few tons of that metal. With how light it is, he is sure to have quite a lot," the man behind the phone said.

"I wish I would help you with our resources but our target might get suspicious of us. But we might be able to find the man you are looking for. What is his name?"

"Ulysses Klaw. Apparently, he has been to Wakanda and back without dying. He's one of the few people who have seen the that mythical place," the man said.

"Good, we will keep an eye out for him. In the meantime, please find the perfect person to make a railgun. We will do the rest," Fury finished the call and hang up with a sigh.

"He's becoming too powerful for us. Hope this metal will do the trick or we will be inviting a parasite into our base," Fury prayed. He was comfortable talking like this because the room was soundproof so he thought Henry could not eavesdrop. How long he was. As long as the sound waves hit a solid object, Henry could hear the sound very clearly that it was like magic. He heard the whole conversation and he was frowning hard.

"This Wakanda again. Vabranium he said, Ulysses Klaw," he memorized the key words then his eyes glowed red for a moment. "Fury, you are careful but I have more strength than you can even imagine," Henry said through clenched teeth and flew off towards the location he was sent for the job. Everyone in Wakanda and Klaw had a sudden sense of incoming doom that made a chill travel all through their bodies, leaving behind a mental scar that would be impossible to heal, ever.

The location they chose for the safehouse could be said to be quite good. It was in the middle of nowhere, where you can shoot your canon without disturbing your neighbour with the explosion. He landed on the front yard as he looked at the farm house in front of him. Two children were playing at the yard and a woman in barely anything on was sunbathing. Henry used his see through eyes and looked inside the house for his charge. He found the man busily typing at a desktop. Henry frowned at this and got into the house as the three people outside watched him in shock and awe.

"You are supposed to stay away from any computers," Henry said as he picked up the CPU, disconnecting the screen immediately. The man got up angrily and threw a punch at Henry who just stood still and let the punch hit. The man felt like he just punched a mountain using a glass fist and immediately, pain seated through all his body like a tide. He clutched his wrist and screamt out in pain, jumping around. "No computers." Henry squeezed a little and the CPU was completely crushed in the middle. Henry threw it out and started at the.man who was quietly weeping on the floor.

"I will be the one protecting you for two days so make my.life easier and I will make yours just as so," Henry said and flew to the sky. The man just looked at him hatefully, he did not realize that Henry was flying!

The first wave of assailants arrived in two hours after he arrived and they were all left in pieces. It was so frightening that the survivors decided to kill themselves. Henry was flying low, his red eyes shooting lasers that seem to have a mind of their own. Some went straight, some went straight then up, some went up then took a nose dive towards someone! It was a platoon of thirty mercenaries but the first few seconds three quarters were already dead.

One of them saw a laser coming towards him so he sucked but the laser followed him in the direction he sucked to and he was immediately cut in half! Another laser was about to hit one of them in the chest but it suddenly curved to the left and killed the mercenary beside him. Henry was playing with them but it seemed more of a psychological torure that sent the survivors to kill themselves instead of waiting for him to make his move. Henry looked at all the bodies and shook his head in disappointment. He truly was disappointed that anyone would decide to kill others for money only to meet an overpowered existence such as him guarding him. He then flew back to the house.

"You're all safe for now," he told the four worried people. "I'm gonna leave for a while. If you want something just yell out, I can hear you from the moon whispering, I can surely hear you from the other continent when you scream for help." With that, he flew to the sky and started listening. He was searching for the key word, Ulysses Klaw. After a few minutes of hearing all sorts of sounds from screaming to chatting to moaning, he finally heard the magical word, Ulysses. He opened his eyes and shot to the place he heard it, leaving behind sonic booms after sonic booms till he arrived in Europe. He hovered above the house he heard the word and looked inside. A man was talking excitedly on the phone about how he bought the hardest and rarest metal in the world from a rough looking mercenary by the name Ulysses Klaw. The transaction happened inside a ship and Henry heard the name. He then started listening again to the magic word till he found it. Someone on the radio said a ship with that name was about to leave the harbour. He immediately flew to the location and found the ship as per the instructions.

"There you are," Henry said and landed on the deck with a bang, making the ship tilt to the left, dangerously. Some sailors were thrown to the frothing sea and onto the rotating propellor blade. The sea turned red but Henry was not happy yet.

"Ulysses Klaw, I have come to have a chat," Henry shouted. Men got out of the ship, armed in unfamiliar and strange guns, all aimed at him. A well built man wearing s tight fitting shirt walked to the front.

"A mutant? Go away, I do not do busines with your kind," Ulysses said. Henry scoffed.

"Deers are herbivores and are one of the cutest animals I have ever seen. But not a while ago, I heard one drive it's athletes into a wolf, killing it immediately. Do you know what that means, Mr Ulysses?"

"You're a big boy, I am sure you have your own conclusions," Ullysses said with a chuckle. Henry smiled back.

"It means, even in times of danger, the most docile animals would turn dangerous. If it was something like a bear, it would have torn the wolf in piece, leave alone just drive a claw into its heart. That shows that the more dangerous an animal, the more dangerous it's retribution would be if in danger. And me, I am a very dangerous animal and you, Ulysses Klaw, have something that is giving me the tingles,"

"I have fought with beings like you and I have always come out on top. My weapons are the most effective towards your type," Ulysses said. Henry laughed at this.

"Trust me, you haven't," he said. Suddenly, Henry disappeared from their sight, making everyone's heart to beat wildly in fear. Just as they were about to fan put and search for him, the ship suddenly jerked then it rose, making everyone on it fall onto the metal deck.

"What the bloody hell is going on?" Ulysses asked as he crawled to the railings. He looked down and his heart fell into the pits of hell as he saw the ship rising in neck breaking speed towards space. "The bastard is lifting the whole ship into space!" Everyone thought they had misheard him till they saw the approaching clouds. Immediately, everyone went into a frenzied panic, trying to find anything that can help them get out of this ship. Suddenly, the ship picked up speed and soon, they were in space in Mac four. Henry looked at the ship with a smile on his face. What he didn't know was that he just changed history, more like fucked it silly!

Once he confirmed the last man had died by suffocation, he turned back and flew back to the house. Once he got there , he found the place eerily quiet. He looked inside and saw the most ridiculous thing ever. A chicken was beating up ten agents like they were toddlers. He frowned and got into the house. The agents seemed to have seen their Messiah for they quickly went behind him, like bullied kids who just saw their parents.

"What happened?" Henry asked them.

"The chicken knows Chicken Fu," one of them said. Henry looked at him as if he was an idiot. "It's true, he beat us silly with it." The agent was desparate to be believed that he sounded like a little child whose parents did not believe him that his uncle wanted to bed him. Henry had to try his best to ignore him and his pitiful tone. He turned to the chicken that was looking at him with its head cocked. Henry could see cunningness in its eye and he was almost sure it did something like that.

"You finally arrived. You are a thorn in my side for the past few hours, I did not know you were gone or I would have come to kill them earlier. Prepare yourself for a beating of a lifetime, kuckoo," the chicken said.

"Holy Molly, not just talked!" Henry showed his thirteen year old face of wonder, staring at the chicken with shining eyes as if it was a new toy. The chicken suddenly attacked but Henry did not move, thinking he was invulnerable. Its claws hit his chest and Henry felt as if all his muscles were going into rigor Mortis. His eyes widened in surprise as he used all his force to overcome this sudden state of paralysis but the chicken was not done yet. It sent a couple of furried wing attacks and the more it hit his body, the more the paralysis became stronger. Finally, Henry was immobilizer and the chicken sent a claw attack that sent him flying through the wall and out of the house. Henry looked at the sky, his mind wondering how he got into that position.

"What just happened?" he asked himself. The chicken landed on his chest and lifted its head proudly.

"I just closed all your accupoints in your body, cuckoo. You won't be able to move for a while now," it said.

"How did you do that?" Henry asked it.

"Chicken Fu. I mutated from a common chicken and became a master chicken by watching monks from the monestery fight. I can beat you with my eyes closed. I am a mercenary for hire and this job was given a high reward ratio to its difficulty because of you," the chicken answered, haughtily.

"You are talented and good," Henry said. Lasers shot out of his eyes and the chicken was reduced to ashes. "But I have laser eyes." The agents got out of the building meekly and looked around. When they saw Henry on the ground, paralysed, they were shocked to say the least. They knew how powerful Henry was but he was paralysed by a chicken! How ridiculous was that?

"Not. A. Word!" Henry growled at them.
