A nervous energy rippled through her making her anxious.
She hadn't slept all night but felt like she had rested for a full day. Zara dashed through the familiar roads, sprinting her way through the quiet lanes. She was merrily hopping through the streets, singing to herself until she came face to face with Ryan's condo.
Her heart was hammering in her heart, she had mixed emotions of meeting Ryan today. A part of her wanted to run away in the opposite direction nervous of seeing him be rude to her again. But, the other part, the one desperate to see that hauntingly beautiful face wanted to thank him for saving her from her mother's wrath.
Though, it had been his fault that her mother would have been angry in the first place screamed her logical brain. She quashed the logic, not everything needed to be done by logic, sometimes you could do things just because you felt like it.
