"What?" Vihaan almost stammered.
And he broke the kiss, not because he wanted to, though. He looked at her, shock written all over his face.
Did he just hear Shana correctly?
Shana hesitated. Was Vihaan not ready anymore for her?
But the kiss did not seem like it. It had the same passion.
"Nothing," and she blurts out with disappointment, lacing her voice.
"Shana...please repeat what you said?" Vihaan just wanted to hear her say once more.
He had wanted to hear it for such a long time that he was not sure he was even hearing it.
Lifting her chin, making her eyes meet his, Vihaan spoke again," Please, just once."
His pleading but love-loaded eyes and his thumping heart answered the one Shana was searching for, and she whispered the magic words again," Love me, Vihaan."
Tick tick tick
The only sound was of the wall clock.
Dhak Dhak Dhak....
And then the thumping and beating of their heart.
