The expressions on the Wolf demon's face darkened. He stared into her eyes which obviously made her very uncomfortable.
"Why aren't you looking at me?"
Euphorian squinted his eyes and questioned. Eliza's back stiffened while she raised her chin and looked at him before answering.
"Are you doubting?"
Both of them stared at each other for a long while before averting their gazes.
Sylia and Yama remained silent all the while, Alex on the other hand kept on rumbling about the Wolf demon. Sylia had her eyebrows scrunched up together. She could not recall that particular incident but she seemed to have met this man somewhere. However it was just that she could not actually recall it. But the fact that he was powerful and capable of ruining their lives one day was making her troubled. She wanted to live in peace however, she knew that for a birth like hers, it was not possible.
