Chapter 6 - My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined.

Leorig looked at him and smiled before saying: "Brace yourself, my most powerful magic spell..."

"Come on, don't keep me waiting!" Daemon howled as he could barely contain his excitement, just for his dreams to be crushed in the next second.

"Huh?" That was the last thing he said before being bombarded by the black flame bullets.

...

A wave of laughter escaped Leorig's mouth "You truly were foolish, giving royalty such as me the opportunity to-" his monologue was cut short by the smoke dispersing revealing the silhouette of a figure. When the smoke cleared it revealed Daemon standing in the same position unharmed, not even a speck of dirt on him, but...that grand smile nowhere to be seen anymore.

"Im- im- impossible! How are you unharmed, I used origin magic!" Leorig shouted at him as he took several steps back expressing his fear and sweating profusely.

Daemon just looked at him, his eyes blank. "Was that really your strongest spell?" he asked casually, but that one sentence cause Leorig's body to shiver.

"Answer me!" Leorig shouted at Daemon refusing to believe his magic was ineffective, magic derived from the power of their great ancestor, the strongest being in the world throughout history, the demon who fought against the whole universe and won until those heroes appeared, the demon who left even gods in fear.

"Hmm?" Daemon let out a confused sound. "That was origin magic correct?" He looked at leorig waiting for his answer, who in turn nodded.

"My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined." A single tear rolled down his eye, but he quickly recollected himself. "Let me get back on the subject."

"You know origin magic borrows magic power from the creator, correct? And if it doesn't hurt me what do you think that means?" Daemon then turned and looked towards the stadium audience, taking a brief look at every one. *sigh* Who would think that magic would regress this much in 2,000 years?" He then turned back towards Leorig before saying. "What are my children doing letting people like you become royalty, I'll need to beat some sense into them once I see them again.

Leorig and the audience after hearing this all became shocked.

"You." Leorig pointed a shaking finger at him, his voice shaking. "You're implying that you're the Great ancestor?"

This one sentence caused the crowd to go berserk(no Guts).

"Could he really be our Demon King?"

"He's the Great ancestor?"

"Impossible, if he really was the Great ancestor wouldn't the Lord Demon Emperors have personally welcomed him?

The audience all gave their opinion

/Author note - I think I've been reading too many Korean and Chinese novels./

'Could he truly be the Great ancestor" Leorig was deep in thought when he suddenly felt something pierce his back. When he turned around he saw Daemon behind him his finger planted in his back.

"What are y-" Leorig let out a ghastly scream. 'I can't breath.../Author note - Don't you dare make that joke./I can't see, I can't hear anything except the sound of water droplets constantly. It feels like something is crawling under my skin, and someone brushing their hand lightly against my neck. What did he do to me?!'

Daemon on the other hand just looked at him before saying and waving to him. "Well, I need to be somewhere, cya." Then disappeared from everyone's view reappearing next to Misha. "Yo." He gave her a casual greeting which she reciprocated with a nod.

"How did the practical exam go?" She asked.

Daemon then explained what had happened during his match, and she just gave her usual nods, and "mhm", she did question why he went as far as to use that spell on him.

"Don't worry the spell effects will go away within 2-3 days." He reassured her. 'The only effect that will go away will be his temporary blindness the others will stay and constantly get worse, and drive him into a state of insanity, but those details aren't really important.
