His voice was soft but hesitant at the same time. He moves closer to me and puts his hand against my arm and I immediately shake it off.
"No... Don't."
William rubs his face in frustration.
"Then how am I supposed to help you, if you don't let me touch you?"
"I-I can't." I stutter and avoid his stare.
"Why Miss Amber? I've been noticing you've been resisting my touch. Do you perhaps feel traumatized by the incident?"
"No, of course not!"
"Then why? You weren't resistant before." He moves closer to me as if testing and proving it to me. He leans towards my body and I turn to avoid him but unintentionally land my body against my back on the bed. A cry escapes my mouth and he retreats only to pull me up in a sitting position quickly.
"Let me just apply that ointment and get over with it." He says, picking up the medicated lotion from my bedside table and moves towards me.
