"Oh my! Look at the time, we have to leave before ten and it's already half-past nine. Let's be quick and finish our breakfast." I dig into my breakfast and see a glint of warning in the girl's eye who was up for a challenge.
I arch up an eyebrow at her, questioningly and she gives me one of her fake smiles.
"You got the wrong person girl, get your hands off of him, he's not your ordinary guy." Was what I wanted to say but instead, I give her back one of my sweet but of course fake smile.
"Mr. William, would you like to have more of our pancakes? I can bring-"
"Honey, you should've woken me up earlier. Now you'll be late just because of me."
I try to remind her about two things very clearly; One that he was my husband and two, we were guests here who had to leave soon so it was useless to cling to him.
Girls, like her, wouldn't give away any opportunity to woo a man with good looks whether married or single.
Such house wreckers!
