He left me behind...
I sat dejectedly in the courtyard with my shoulders slumped and head bowed down. I was supposed to meet my boss here yet I was left behind to sulk for being lazy.
I was supposed to go on a mission as excited as it may sound... all my hopes to hinder his mission drained down the path. I cannot stop him from doing his job but what I had planned was to become a nuisance in his way so his work would slow down. That's the best I had come up with alright? Since I don't have any superpower that would magically put a stop to profit-seeking warlords, funding civil war in the country. If I can't possibly change his mind the best, I could do was become a big obstacle in his way.
A stupid nutcracker of a person! How dare he leave me behind after providing me an important role in his mission... or it was what I thought?
