I made my way to smith's hollow, unlike our street this was calm and tranquility filled the air.
Trees rustling, birds chirping and the clanking of metal against metal, this made it sound like musical notes. I loved the smith's hallow, they weren't nosy, they didn't care about your background as long as you'd pay on time. Merchant's on the other hand loved to gossip whether it is true or not.
I kept looking down to see the cracks on the road, pulling back the branches that came on my face. I was breathing heavily, my face was getting hot walking uphill.
I looked down and saw small, scattered houses.
"Finally"
Wilfred's place wasn't located in the interior but stayed along the exterior of the slope. A small blue villa, with a big shed and an even bigger chimney. Wilfred is the type of person who will listen to you taking for hours but wouldn't speak much himself.
As I was walking I lost my footing and stumbled down the slope, right in front of Wilfred's house. Luckily Wilfred was in the shed and didn't see my embarrassing moment. I felt a sting in my knees and saw something red smeared all over, but I didn't have the luxury to check my wound.
"Wilfred" I kept on calling his name but I couldn't see him anywhere, just at that moment I felt someone's presence behind me, my heart raced,
' they couldn't have found me this fast, could they' my mind raced at the slightest possibility of going back to that place. I slowly turned around, clenched my fists, feigning a confident look.
I looked up at a huge figure, the sun-blocking my vision. All I could see was that whoever it was they were holding something. My pupils contracted, my mouth felt dry. I could feel every fiber of my being telling me to run, just as I was about, I was taken back with an outstretched hand, only then did I see the gentle but hairy face of Wilfred.
"Oh no, you saw it " I spoke these words as I saw the utility kit in his hands for healing wounds.
"Hmm" that's all he said but I would see the top of his ears becoming red.
"Well this is embarrassing" my face flushed red.
