Chapter 39 - Han Dapeng Who Plows Land

"Is that… Han… Han Dapeng?"

Everyone was astonished as they stared at the land plower in disbelief.

Han Dapeng had been an outer sect deacon of the Spirit Medicine Pavilion, and he had some reputation in East Delta County. How did he end up doing the job of a farmer?

At present, he was bare-chested with his shirt tied around his waist. Because he had been spending a long time on the field, his skin had become tan while his shoes and the hem of his pants were stained with soil. Large droplets of sweat were dripping from his forehead, and he had practically become a farmer.

"Hahaha! Han Dapeng, I heard that you had resigned from your position as the deacon. Why did you end up in such a state?" Wu Zhangkong initially wanted to teach Bai Xiaolong a lesson, but he burst into laughter uncontrollably when he saw how pathetic Han Dapeng was. Thus, he decided to mock him.

"Those that have no business here and are idling about are not to create trouble in the Great King Mountain!" Han Dapeng yelled at Wu Zhangkong sternly after he put away the hoe.

"Wow, this guy must be crazy!"

"Hahaha! Look at him now. I can't stop laughing!"

"Hah! Han Dapeng, who do you think you are now? How dare you speak to me like that!?" Wu Zhangkong retorted in contempt, chuckling in a fit of pique.

"I'm now a member of the Great King Mountain, and the Bai Clan is a friend. I won't allow you people to create trouble in the Great King Mountain!"

"Look at yourself! Do you really think you're somebody powerful? You deserve this! I shall see how you stop us!"

Wu Zhangkong coldly stared at Han Dapeng, giving up on Bai Xiaolong, and charged straight toward Han Dapeng. He dared not kill Bai Xiaolong, but since Han Dapeng had already left the Spirit Medicine Pavilion and no longer had a backer, he would deserve it even if he died.

"Air-Breaking Fist!"

A similar luster appeared on Wu Zhangkong's fist, and his eyes were glistening with a bloodthirsty and reddish glow. He stuck out his tongue and licked his dry lips excitedly.

"Is this… a martial arts technique!?"

"Impressive, you actually can pull such a martial arts technique with your peak Outer Art ability. Indeed, you're the best talent in the martial arts world!"

"Unless he's a Martial Apprentice, he'll definitely suffer a heavy blow!"

"Han Dapeng is finished…"

Once one became a Martial Apprentice, they could use martial skills. Nonetheless, Wu Zhangkong managed to use it even though his abilities were only at Outer Art's peak. How could they not be shocked? Everyone kept their mouths open and stared at the arrogant Wu Zhangkong.

The Air-Breaking Fist could maximize one's speed and power. As its name suggested, even the air would be broken once the skill was cast, let alone humans.

The ear-piercing sounds made their scalps turn numb.

The excitement in Wu Zhangkong's eyes intensified upon hearing the crowd's exclamations of awe, and he seemed to have already seen the scene of himself beating Han Dapeng into a pulp. It was his first time learning a martial arts skill, and he thought that Han Dapeng could die with no regrets under the might of a martial arts move.

Ever since Su Yu had effortlessly defeated him, Wu Zhangkong had been practicing martial arts for the entire month and finally learned the Air-Breaking Fist. He had also gone to the Great King Mountain with the intention to settle scores with Su Yu.

Due to his family background, Han Dapeng was not a match for Wu Zhangkong, especially since the latter had now learned a martial arts skill. He was simply unbeatable.

"The Air-Breaking Fist is the martial arts skill that made my clan famous. Each strike is as fast as lightning, and its sound is powerful like the wind. Back then, my ancestor killed a Martial King powerhouse, and the skill became renowned in East Delta County. You should feel proud that you can die because of my Air-Breaking Fist!"

After casting the Air-Breaking Fist, Wu Zhangkong's aura became more and more domineering. In the blink of an eye, he was getting closer to the level of a Martial Apprentice, while the light on his fist was getting increasingly brighter. It was particularly glaring as if it were a small sun.

"Martial… Martial Apprentice?"

"No, that's just an aura. The martial arts skill helped to condense it. Wu Zhangkong is probably going to be the first to step into the ranks of true martial artists, out of all the young talents in East Delta County."

"Even if he's not a martial artist, he's a half-step martial artist. He'll definitely be able to break through the barrier in half a month."

"The Wu Clan has produced a real genius this time. Wu Zhangkong hasn't reached the age of e18 yet, but he has already entered the ranks of martial artists."

"However, that's not all. He has already mastered a martial arts technique. Things are going to change drastically in East Delta County."

Han Dapeng stood still on the ground, seemingly dumbfounded.

That was what the truth was like too. Faced with the martial arts skill, Han Dapeng was truly petrified and didn't know how to deal with it.

"Brother Han, be careful!" Bai Xiaolong exclaimed worriedly.

In the blink of an eye, Wu Zhangkong's fist had already arrived in front of Han Dapeng's chest. Due to the compression of air, Han Dapeng began to find it difficult to breathe.

"Bend your knees, flip your hands, and pull back."

At that moment, he was thinking about the words that Su Yu had said to him when teaching him how to plow the land. He couldn't help but start moving as the hint suggested.

He bowed and spun the hoe in his hand. He then pulled the hoe above his head back…

Although it seemed casual, he had grasped the timing well and accurately. All of Wu Zhangkong's energy was channeled into his fist, so there was an entry point in his legs. Besides, after plowing land for a month now, Han Dapeng had already gained good control of power. Before the fist landed on his body, the hoe had already been hooked around Wu Zhangkong's legs. Wu Zhangkong then lost his balance after a tug and a pull.

Next, Han Dapeng raised the hoe in his hand upward, and the hoe lever hit Wu Zhangkong's chest, causing the latter to fly several meters away. Since the Air-Breaking Fist's power could not be released, it was contained in Wu Zhangkong's body, causing him to spurt out a mouthful of blood.

The sudden twist dumbfounded everyone, and they stood rooted to the ground in shock. As they were staring at Han Dapeng in disbelief, even his eyeballs were about to fall out.

'How… How is this possible?'

That was a martial arts skill that only those who had entered the ranks of martial artists could learn. Yet, he had learned it so easily.

In the blink of an eye, Wu Zhangkong, who was originally unbeatable and was certain that he would win, was beaten up to the point of spitting out blood, causing everyone to gasp in shock.

They remained still on the spot and wondered, How did Han Dapeng manage to do that without even moving his legs?

His few simple movements allowed him to effortlessly stop Wu Zhangkong's attack and defeat him. It was simply too terrifying!

"Brother Han, you… You are simply… too powerful!" Bai Xiaolong exclaimed in shock with envy in his eyes.

"I…" Han Dapeng looked down and stared at his hands in confusion, after which an intense gaze of excitement formed in his eyes. The blood in his body seemed to have started boiling. He looked at the hoe, followed by the vegetable field. He couldn't help but think of the various hardships he had endured when learning to plow the land. It was no wonder that Su Yu had made him plow the land. It turned out that the true martial arts skills were hidden in plowing!

Powerful! Invincible!

He suddenly felt blessed and thought that joining the Great King Mountain was perhaps the best decision that he had ever made in this life!

"So many of you have come to my Great King Mountain. Are you here to create trouble? I, the Great King Mountain's disciple, will take on all of you! Who else is there!?" Han Dapeng hollered with gusto.
