Smith
The music played loudly from the speakers, bodies glided against each other on the dance floor, people are seen sucking their faces at various corners. The disco ball which was hanging from the ceiling, illuminated different colours in the room.
Someone caught my eye from my usual spot, which was a couch at the right end of the room. A girl in a white dress staggered into the club barefooted, then she straightened up and started grinning from ear-to-ear like she won a trophy.
What is she so happy about?
Suddenly, her whole demeanour changed and she stopped smiling as if remembering something. She stomped over to the bar stool, took a seat and ordered for a drink, but the bartender got the wrong message and threw her a flirtatious smile. She smiled back and told him something which I guess was her order again but he still continued flirting with her.
She pulled him close and told him something in his ear, he swallowed hard and swiftly turned away to get her her drink.
I'm guessing she told him something he didn't want to hear.
She scanned the room while tapping her slender fingers on the table, her eyes met mine, but the bartender broke our stare as he handed her drink to her. She took it all in one drop and twisted her face in disgust. She placed her glass down on the table repeatedly catching his attention again and telling him to give her another shot.
She swung her head over to my direction, but I quickly averted my gaze and she turned her eyes back to her glass. Two girls walked up to me with smirks blocking my view, I quickly declined their offer and stretched my neck to the right to see what the girl was doing.
What? I'm not a freak or anything.
I couldn't help watching her, she stood out. She was the only girl wearing a sparkly white dress in a dark room and I am sure anyone who was not busy dancing, drinking or making out clearly saw her swagger in and watched her like I did.
After an hour of watching her take shot upon shot of vodka. I wasn't surprised she was now flirting and laughing with the same bartender who she rejected an hour ago.
I was certain she thought she was flying seated on that stool. To confirm my thoughts, she placed one hand on her hip and raised the other, in a superhero pose, she leapt off the bar stool and fumbled in her landing.
I smiled, i liked the girl already.
I took that as my cue to walk up to her, but stopped in my tracks when Charlie approached her before I got there.
Damn you Charlie!
He caught her before she made contact with the floor, she raised her head and smiled upon seeing him. He smiled back and set her down on the stool and before you know it, they started a conversation.
I had no idea why he was still holding her hand talk less of what the hell he was telling her, but she kept on giggling at every word he said. After a minute or two, he pulled her to the dance floor.
She held onto him for support since she couldn't stand on her own two feet, he gripped her waist and pulled her into him. Just then, 'Wobble up' by Chris brown started playing and some butts in the house are seen twerking here and there except hers. She is too busy grinding hers on Charlie's dick to notice, then she wheeled around and kissed him hard.
What the hell!
He showed no hesitation in kissing her back, his hands goes down to her waist while hers goes around his neck. Charlie pulled away breaking the kiss too soon, and whispered something to her and she nodded with a giggle escaping her lips. He started leading her off the dance floor.
No way I'm letting that girl go with Charlie.
She probably couldn't even remember her own name, she was gonna regret everything when she wakes up. I rushed to them and grabbed her other hand. He noticed she stopped, he spun around to see me holding her hand.
"What the hell? Let go of her!" Charlie hissed.
"Charlie hand her over," I commanded.
"No way bro. I got to her first," He tightened his grip on her hand.
"Charlie," I warned.
"I feel like a beautiful princess. Two boys fighting because of me. Yayyy!" The girl said trying to squeal but ended up burping. "Oops my manners."
"See, she is wasted, hand her over, her parents might be worried. Let me take her home, I know her." I lied.
With a scoff, he let her go and he walked away. I pulled the girl from the dance floor.
"Where are we going to? Where are you taking me?" She asked.
"I'm taking you home," I informed her.
"What? I don't live in a ham, only beefs live in hams and I'm not meat. FYI hamburgers do not have ham. Facts." She replied.
That does it.
I lifted her off the ground by carrying her over my shoulder. She yelled and struck my back repeatedly, but I ignored her and lurched to my car. When I got to the parking lot, I kept her down, pulled my car key from my back pocket and opened the passenger door. I swivelled around to let her in only to see her passing all the contents of her stomach to the floor.
Thank God she didn't do that in my baby.
"Are you done?" I asked her.
She shook her head and went for another round. I leaned on my car whistling and waiting for her to finish her sessions of vomit.
"I'm done now." She informed me as she cleaned her lips.
I entered my car and she entered the passenger seat, I tipped over and helped her with her seat belt. She placed her head backward and with her eyes closed I noticed how pretty she actually was.
Surprisingly, her makeup was still in place and her red full lips were slightly parted, and I found myself staring at them. She broke the spell by opening her eyes, I quickly pulled back and started the car.
"Umm.....could you tell me your address? I know where I am taking you to, 'cause I am sure as hell not taking you to my house." I said after five minutes of driving aimlessly.
She groaned loudly then faced me, "I didn't ask you to take me to your house, and my address is House 69 Bay ville estate."
I don't know that place.
"You could use your GPS." She voiced out my thoughts.
"From this, I can see your house is located North and is a 45 minutes drive from here." I told her.
She didn't respond. I looked over to her, she was maybe sleeping.
"What is your name?" I inquired.
"Vanessa,"
Yeah, not sleeping.
"Nice name,"
"Yours?"
"Smith,"
"Good name,"
"Thank you,"
"Oh okay."
"Sooo, what did you tell the bartender when you first walked in?"
She furrowed her eyebrows and scrunched up her nose in confusion. "What?"
"The bartender. What you told him when he was flirting with you?" I stopped. "I'm guessing you don't remember. Don't worry,"
"I told him to give me my drink or I'm gonna smash his head on the table,"
"Feisty huh,"
"Whatever."
Forty-five minutes later, I pulled up in huge black gate which houses what I'm guessing is a mansion because I can still see the top of the house even though the gate is massive.
Rich tycoon's daughter huh!
"Vanessa!" I called but I got no response.
I tapped her cheek, "Vanessa, we're at your house. Wake up."
She groaned and swatted my hand away.
"Vanessa!" I yelled.
"What? What?" She woke up alarmed.
"We are at your house," I calmly stated.
"Oh. Hand me my purse."
I handed her purse to her, she collected it and brought out the latest iPhone. She switched it on and dialled a number, in a matter of seconds, the gate opened revealing the biggest house I had ever seen with a huge fountain in middle of the compound.
I drove in, at the same time, two hefty men approached my car with huge vicious-looking bulldogs. I nearly passed out since I was scared of dogs and intimidation, but decided to be a man and not scream.
One of them opened the car door and lifted Vanessa up and padded off without even acknowledging me. The other signalled me to come out and I did, I kept on shaking and wobbling on my feet as I walked out.
Surprisingly, a blonde slim tall lady walked up to me with a smile.
"Thank you Mr Smith for bringing my daughter home. It is rather late so I suggest you should go home. I will call you back tomorrow for us to have a little talk," She brought out wads of cash from her bag and handed it to me.
I stood there speechless.
"Take this and you may take your leave."
"No thank you," I rejected the cash. "I'm gonna go now."
I slowly turned around, got in my car and drove off.
How does she know my name?
