We sat in the living room, I let him lie down on the enormous cushioned sofa. I made him some herbal soup which would add to his quicker recovery.
"So umm... how did this happen?" I asked him as he ate, I glanced at him and immediately guilt filled every corner of my heart.
"When you left me on the note of 'think about it' I did, and I decided that I wanted to quit." I nodded my head as I comprehended his words,
"I knew it was pointless yet I mustered courage and went up to Shimuzu. I told him I am leaving and that's it. But it was your father, he was there too. He took me as a source to get to you. He knew you wouldn't come otherwise." I heave a sigh, a sigh filled with affliction, humiliation, remorse.
It's all because of me, yet again.
"For what I know, they've collaborated I guess." He said and I nodded once more in agreement to his words, what else could I say
