When Enilese regained her consciousness she felt that someone was carrying her on their back . Her entire body was in pain , even her eyelids were heavy with so much exhaustion that she didn't feel like opening her eyes to see the person who was carrying her .
Some time passed like that , she had no idea where the person was taking her .Then she heard the opening sound of a door and a familiar scent hit her nose ... the pleasant fragrance of her room freshener .... it was her room . She slowly opened her eyes a bit and saw that it was indeed her room .
The person who was carrying her placed her on the bed .
" Enilese , are you awake ? " , Selina asked as she saw Enilese staring at her blankly . She caressed her cheek gently and said again , " What happened Enilese ? Are you hurt somewhere ? "
Riley was standing nearby , he spoke up , " Don't ask her so many questions now . Let her rest first ..... I'll be leaving . "
Selina spoke up , " Thank you , Riley . I couldn't have brought her here without your help . "
" No need to say thank you . It's my duty to help my coworker . Take care of her . " , he looked at Enilese who evaded eye contact with him and left the room .
As he left Selina asked again , " Are you okay ? " , this time Enilese just nodded her head a little .
" Water .... " , she uttered . Selina immediately picked up the glass from the side table and held it to her lips . She finished the water in one go .
After a long silence .
" Where did you find me ? " , Enilese asked in weak voice .
" Near the street which leads to S forest . You were not picking up my calls , so I was very worried . We went to the area where you had your duty and found you in the unconscious state . There was a dead body a bit far from you , it had turned blue . "
, she stopped for a moment and spoke up , " Enilese , can you tell me what happened ? Did you try to save him and in the process you got affected ? "
Enilese looked at her but didn't say anything , she didn't know what to say . She always shares everything with Selina but for some unknown reason Enilese never talked about her encounters with the dark soul . And today too , she didn't feel like telling her about it . So she just nodded a bit to indicate that Selina's guess was right .
Selina continued , " Enilese , I know , it's our duty to save people . But you need to know who you can save and who is beyond healing . I saw the body , it's clear that he was killed with poison . You couldn't possibly save him . You shouldn't take risk when it comes to poison . See you got affected while saving him . "
" I'll remember this . " , she said in her low voice .
" Please do . " , she touched her face and continued , " You look pale and you have slight fever too ..... "
" It's nothing serious . I'm okay . " , Enilese cut her off .
" Okay , you rest for a while . I'll bring you some food . "

Enilese was standing in front the bathroom mirror , she looked at herself . There was dirt on her dress , her hair was messy , her eyes were puffy because of excessive crying . She opened the tap to wash her face and her eyes fell on her left wrist . There was a brownish mark around her wrist . She remembered that the dark soul was grabbing her wrist very tightly . She held her wrist under the water , as the cold water touched the mark she winced in pain .
After a while , she splashed cold water on her face . She felt a bit refreshed . She stared at the haggered reflection of her in the mirror for some time . Too many thoughts were clouding her mind . She remembered the events from the forest and realised how helpless and pathetic she was in front of him .
She looked down .
' You still have a lot to endure . ' , she heard the whispering sound near her ear . These were the last words , she heard before losing her consciousness . And right now the words were continuously ringing in her head . She covered her ears and looked up , as her eyes landed on the mirror a wave of chills ran down her spine .
In the mirror , behind her reflection was another image . The very image she didn't want to see ever again ... the image of the very dark soul . He had a dangerous smirk on his lips . He moved his lips to say something , ' You still have a lot to endure . ' , she heard again . She looked behind her and obviously there was no one . She knew , all of this was just her hallucination but still her heart was beating very fast .
She turned to the mirror again , the smirking reflection of the dark soul was still there . Tears started forming in her eyes as she shouted , " Why do I have to endure anything ? ... Why ? I did nothing wrong , why would I have to suffer ? " , she touched the imaginary reflection with her finger and said , " You are wrong here ..... you guys are doing wrong . " , she couldn't say more as her voice choked with sobs .
She moved from there and turned on the shower to get rid of the painful memories . As the warm water streams started pouring over her her tears started falling again . She sat on the floor hugging her knees .
' Why did he save me .... why did he have to pity me ... I always interfere in his job ..... I always insult him ..... I hate him .... then why did he help me ..... I didn't want his help .... I didn't want his sympathy ..... I didn't want anything from him .... I hate him ....' , she shouted in her mind . It was actually very hard for her to accept that a dark soul saved her life and somehow she was now indebted to him .
Her emotions were unstable , a part of her was angry that she was saved by a person who was a part of their biggest enemy , a part of her was terrified to witness the immense power he possessed , a part of her was ashamed of her own self for being so weak and pahetic , and lastly there was a small part of her that felt something different .... of what she herself was confused .

Ryan opened the door of Shawn's room . As he stepped in strong cigarette smell hit his nose . Though he himself was a heavy smoker he couldn't help but cough a little . He frowned and walked forward only to find a his friend standing near the window , holding a cigarette between his long fingers . There was many burnt cigarette butts in the ashtray .
" What the hell . Are you planning to die ... smoking this much in a closed room like this . " , he spoke up .
Shawn didn't turn around and took another puff from the cigarette .
" I didn't know you have a liking for cigarettes . What happened ? Anything wrong ? "
" Nothing . Why are you here ? " , he said without turning back .
" I've a bad news . The mission , in the north , has been failed . The people were rescued by the angels before our men could transfer them to another hiding place . " , he said indifferently .
" It means , our job , in the north is left unfinished . " , Shawn spoke up without much emotion in his voice .
" Right , we have to think of a new plan quickly . "
" No need . Let them celebrate this victory for a while ... the next blow would be the most unexpected thing for them . "
Ryan didn't ask anything about it anymore , he knew his friend very well . It was clear from his words that he already had the next move planned .
" Anyway , you still haven't told me the occasion of your cigarette party . What happened ? Did you get into a fight with your girlfriend ?.... "
Ryan was going to say more but Shawn spoke up , " As you can see , you are not invited to my party . So it'd be very good if you just leave . "

Shawn continued smoking , after a while he grabbed his phone and called someone .
The other party picked up after a few rings .
