Enilese spoke up in a daze , " Wow , I didn't know people can get married like this ! "
" It is the temple of the mountain spirits . People believe , if they get married having mountain spirits as witnesses their marriage life would be blissful . "
Inside the temple , the two people were now exchanging rings . Then they leaned in to seal their vows with a kiss .
As they kissed Enilese almost clapped her hands for the couple but Shawn held her hands to stop her .
" Enilese , we should not ruin their moments . "
" Sorry , I was so excited . I am so happy for them . "
She didn't say anything anymore as she continued to look at happily .

Some times later . The newly wedded couple had already left . Now Enilese and Shawn were standing in front of the temple .
Enilese was still enchanted about the marriage , she just witnessed . She was constantly talking about how beautiful the wedding was .
Shawn frowned at her and asked , " What is so special about it ? "
" Of course it's special . No crowd , no priest , just the two of them and their love for each other . Oh , and the blessings of the spirits . No other wedding can be more beautiful , more sacred than this . " she exclaimed , " I wish , I could get married here . "
" Well you can . That's no big deal . "
" Right but for that I'd need a groom . " , she said looking at him .
" Do you want me to find one for you ? " , he said in the same tone as her .
She stared at him for some time and then said in a displeased voice , " No need . "
And with that she walked forward to enter the temple . Shawn couldn't help but smile a little as he followed behind her .
It was a small temple , made of grey coloured rock . There was a small veranda like space encircling the temple . The railings of the veranda were also made of rocks . They took off their shoes and entered the temple .
Inside the temple another air of admiration passed through Enilese . As Shawn mentioned , there was really nothing much in there . The only eye-catching thing was a medium sized uneven rock , set in an alter like structure . But Enilese could sense something in the air that she felt a kind of calmness in her heart .
In front of the alter some candles were lighting . Of course , they were lighted by the newlyweds from a few minutes back .
Enilese was just silently staring at the rock , in the partly dark temple the rock was looking extremely magnetizing .
" Told you , there's not much , here . " , Shawn's voice came from behind .
She turned her head toward him and asked , " What is the rock about ? "
" Um , there's a story about that . People say that many years ago a man got a glimpse of the mountains of spirits . He , like others didn't get content with that . Rather he followed the sight of the mountains . After some days he believed to have reached the mountains . He took a rock from there , brought that here and set up the temple . It's the most popular story about the rock and the temple . But nobody knows whether that's the original version or not . "
Enilese nodded . She didn't know if the rock really had any connection with the mountains or not but looking at the rock she definitely felt positive vibes . She closed her eyes and made a wish with genuine sincerity .
When she was done she heard him saying , " If you are done , can we go back now ? It's getting dark . "
" Yeah , let's go . " , she said with a smile . They came out of the temple . She was about to wear her shoes when a bright silver light flashed lightening up their dull surrounding followed by a loud rumbling sound . At the sudden shock she hold onto his arm . Then without giving them any time to react it started pouring heavily accompanied by another silver flash and faint rumbling sounds .
" Perfect . " , Shawn spoke up in a sarcastic tone . She looked at him and could only let out an awkward smile .

It was raining pretty heavily , the chilly wind , occasional flashes of lightning and the roaring sounds of thunder were making the situation worse for the couple who were currently sitting at the veranda of the temple .
Enilese looked at Shawn and asked , " Shawn , did you have any engagement tonight ? "
" Why ? " , he asked looking at her .
" Because of me you got stuck here ..... "
" Don't worry , I didn't have anything specific to do . And you can't possibly control the rain . So it's not your fault . " , he said with a smile .
" If you say so . " , she said and stretched her legs , leaning against the wall behind her .
Sometimes later , Shawn's eyes fell on the bare legs of Enilese . Since she was wearing a knee length skirt the lower part of her legs was exposed . Enilese noticed his gaze and said , " Anything wrong ? "
" Aren't your legs cold ? "
" Um , they are but not that much . "
Shawn took off his jacket and covered her legs . She spoke up , " Shawn , it's okay ....."
He cuts her off , " It's very windy here . You may catch cold . " She didn't object anymore . He spoke up again , " It doesn't seem , the rain would stop any soon . "
" I think so too . But it's quite exciting . I always wanted to spend night in a forest but never got a chance . Today my wish came true . " , she said cheerfully .
" What's so exciting about spending night in a forest ? I mean , it's so dark , cold and full of bugs .... what kind of excitement are you getting out of these ? " , She let out a giggle as a reply .
" Anyway , it's late and you still didn't return . Won't your friends be worried about you that something is wrong with you ? " , she once told him that she lives in a shared apartment with her friends . Because of the bad weather , the mobile networks weren't very stable . So he asked in concern that she probably couldn't inform her friends about her present whereabouts .
She said , " I informed my friend that I won't be able to go back tonight because of the rain . And I am with my boyfriend so there's nothing to worry . "
Shawn raised his brows and asked , " And , does your friend know that your boyfriend is a gangster ? "
She stared at him for some time and said , " She does . "
" Didn't she give you any safety tips to follow when you are with me , alone ? "
Enilese , at first , didn't understand what he was trying to say but then she remembered his question from the beach . She let out a small sigh and started , " No she didn't . because she believes in my decisions . "
He nodded .
She continued , " Back in the beach , you asked me if I am having regrets about choosing you , didn't you ?.... I think , I've got a lot of time to answer the question . " , he raised his brows amusingly .
She continued , " I remember , the day when we met at the S forest that very day you told me about your profession . After that I don't know what happened to me but I just couldn't stop thinking about you . I wanted to see you again . I thought that it was just some kind of attraction or infatuation though I never experienced that kind of attraction or infatuation for anyone else before ..... I thought those unknown feelings would be over soon but they didn't . At that time , I tried to think logically that probably it'd not be a very good idea to get entangled with a gangster .... But those logical thoughts never reached any conclusions , every time my thoughts were interrupted by my feelings and every time I realised that I wanted to see you again . "
" I hope , now you know , I can never have any regrets about you . I have faith in my decisions . "
Shawn nodded and spoke up , " I see . "
" I always believe that if two people are fated to meet , they would definitely meet , no matter what . And you know what , we met again just a few days later . "
Shawn laughed a little and said , " I remember . You asked me to have coffee with you . "
" Right . " she replied , blushing a bit .
" So you believe in fate ? "
" Yeah . "
" But , what if fate has chosen someone else for you ? " , Shawn asked in a normal tone but the simple question made her smile fade away . Her guardian spirit's words suddenly rang in her head and the image of a black hooded silhouette flashed in her mind . She took a shallow breath and then spoke up , " If so , I would stop believing in fate . "
She said after some time , " What about you , do you think there might be someone else for you ? "
" I don't believe in fate . "
" Then , let me ask you something . "
He nodded . She asked nervously , " How many girls have you dated before ? "
" Would you believe if I say , you are the first one I'm dating ? "
Enilese blushed a bit but said immediately , " That's a bit hard to believe . You are very handsome , you must've been the centre of attention for the girls wherever you'd gone . " , he couldn't help but laugh hearing her words . When she saw him laughing she asked again , " It's true , right ? "
" Yeah , but no one dared to approach me . "
" Why ? Oh , I think , I know . You must've been very rude to everyone . "
" How do you know ? "
" Hmph , I remember , how rudely you used to behave with me before we started dating . "
" Okay okay , now it's your turn . Tell me , how many boyfriends did you have ? "
" I didn't have any . "
Shawn raised his brows teasingly . So she started again , " Well , I admit that I've received many proposals in my life , some were respectful , some were not , but the point is I never felt any kind of excitement or different kind of feeling towards any of them . So , I thought , I should wait for the right person . I wanted to experience the feeling of falling for someone . So I have been waiting ... to fall in love . "
None of them said anything , they just continued to look at each other .
After some time .
The weather didn't improve even a bit . But the two people didn't seem to have any problem with that anymore .
" You seem very happy today ? " , Shawn asked as he saw her smiling .
" I'm . I am really happy today . And you brought this happiness . " , she said maintaining her bright smile .

" Where are you going ? " , Shawn asked as Enilese gave him his jacket and stood up from the ground .
" My legs are sore from sitting for a long time . " , she went to the railing and leaned against it .
" Is everything okay ? " , she turned her head hearing his question . She saw , he has also come and stood beside her .
She nodded and suddenly spoke up in an upset tone , " Shawn , are you happy in this relationship ? "
Shawn was definitely not ready for the question . He remained quiet for some time and then asked , " Enilese , are you on your period today ? "
" What ? "
" No seriously , your mood swings are really frightening . You were so happy just a moment ago , what happened suddenly ? "
" Don't try to change the subject . Please answer my question . "
" Can I ask the reason for this sudden question ? "
She turned around still leaning against the railing. She was now facing him , her both hands were placed on the railings .
She started , " I know , our relationship , kind of started in a haste . You were probably not ready for the sudden proposal .... Sometimes I think that you are probably not interested in the relationship . May be , I insisted you too much back then that you couldn't say no to me . I don't know why but I don't feel that you're very happy when you are with me . " , Shawn was listening to her without any expression . She started after a moment , " I don't know how you'd react but I have really fallen in love with you . I've never acted like this before . Everytime we meet , I discover a new side of yours and I fall for you more . If this continues I don't know what would happen to me if someday you suddenly ask for break up ... But of course I shouldn't force you to be in a relationship where you are not happy . That's why I'm asking . " , she sighed and looked away .
Shawn took a step toward her and held her chin . " Enilese , look at me . " , he said .
She slowly turned to him , in the faint light he noticed , her eyes were teary , some loose strands of hair were blowing in the wind , she was looking mesmerising .
She was going to say something but before she could Shawn leaned in and captured her lips .
