S forest .
The forest was serene as always . Its foggy and gloomy atmosphere has created a sense of dullness . Everything about the forest was mysterious and that very mystery made the forest more beautiful . Occasional chirping of various birds and the sound of the wind blowing through the trees were the only sounds that could be heard .
But Enilese was trying to hear something more , probably the low voices , which had stopped a few moments ago .
Some times ago she saw a man taking the road towards the forest . Something about the man seemed very disturbing to her , she didn't know what though . She decided to follow the man after some contemplation .
She successfully followed him to the forest but then she lost his track . After looking around her for a moment she thought of going back . But then she heard very faint sound of two voices , talking . She had been following the sound until the voices stopped a few moments ago .
She had been standing for some time but she couldn't hear any more sound . But she could feel that the owners of those voices were not far from her .
" Please don't kill me ...." , suddenly someone whispered from behind some nearby bushes .
Enilese frowned .
" No ... " , she heard again . She thought for a moment and started approaching the bushes .
Long time ago , she once saw some dead looking creatures behind some bushes . The memory was still fresh in her mind . So she was a bit nervous to do the same thing again .
She took a deep breath after coming close to the bushes . Now she could hear heavy breathing of someone . She thought for a while before finally putting aside some bushes to see what was going on . The moment her eyes caught the sight behind the bushes , her heart , as if , stopped for a moment .

Behind the bushes , there were two persons . The man , she had been following was against a tree . The other person was wearing .... a black hoodie . With one hand he was holding the former man by his throat against the tree . But that was not what surprised Enilese . The surprising thing was the hooded person's other hand which was wrapped in ....bright red flames . He was taking his burning palm towards the other man's face .
Enilese gasped subconsciously . She remembered that her fellow members once talked about a dark soul member who had the power of fire . But she never thought , one day she would actually see that person . She was thinking hard what to do , at one side she had a certain feeling that her powers won't be much effective against him and on other side she knew that if she wastes much time the person would be killed .
' I have to try , I can't leave someone in danger . ' , she thought to herself . She took a deep breath and was going to use her powers when her phone started ringing , shattering the quietness of the atmosphere .
Because of the sound the hooded figure turned to her side . She got startled by the sudden turn of events . Her mind went blank , she just stared at the hooded person subconsciously .
The hooded figure again turned to the other man , as if not minding Enilese at all . He was going to touch the man's face with the burning hand when Enilese spoke up , " Hey , what are you doing ? This is wrong ..... he is almost half dead .... please leave him . " , Enilese herself didn't know what she was doing , did she think that she can stop him just like that ? Still she approached them while requesting the hooded man to leave the person .
" P...please help m....me ..." , the person was silent all along , now seeing Enilese he spoke up painfully .
The hooded figure held his throat more tightly to stop him from speaking .
Enilese continued , " What will you get by killing him ? Please let him go ... " , she tried to pull his hand from the man's throat , of course she didn't succeed . Enilese wasn't thinking properly , if she did she would've realised what she was doing was really dangerous .
The hooded figure had enough , he advances his burning palm to the man's face .
" No ..." , Enilese cried out .
.....
The man didn't feel the burning flames on his face , he opened his eyes only to see Enilese holding the burning hand with all her strength . But that was not important , what was important was that she was holding the fiery hand without getting affected even a slightest bit ...as if the flames had no power on her .
Some moments of silence .
Enilese was nervously looking at her hand which was holding his hand , covered in red flames . Surprisingly , she wasn't feeling any burning sensation on her skin . She looked at the hooded man , because of his hood only the lower part of his face was visible . Somehow she found his features a bit familiar , she frowned a little .
( A small pause )
She was trying to process what was going on when the hooded figure pushed her hard , Enilese fell on the ground because of the force .
" What do you guys get by killing innocent people ? " , she shouted .
The hooded figure looked at her direction , she felt a chill in her heart even though she couldn't see his face . She looked away , she couldn't understand what she should do .
She was going to say something again but before she could the hooded figure threw the man on the ground and left .
The man sat up on the ground , breathing heavily .
Enilese was surprised . She couldn't believe all that happened in the last few minutes . She just sat there silently .

Enilese didn't know how long she had stayed like that , she came to her senses after feeling a rough grip on her wrist . She looked at her side and saw that the former man was holding her hand . There was a devilish look on his face .
She frowned and asked coldly , " What are you doing ? " ,
" Your blood must have something special in it . Let me check . " , he said in a broken voice . He gets a bit closer to Enilese .
" What kind of nonsense is that ? " , she said with a disgusted look while trying to free her hand .
" I saw , his powers had no effect on you . You will be a great use to me . " , he said while pulling her hand , his coarse skin made scratches on Enilese's wrist .
" Leave me , he's already left . You are safe now ..... "
The man didn't let her finish as he said , " What if he confronts me somewhere else ... and even if not for him , you are way too precious to let you go . You must be gifted somehow , let me see ....." , he leaned towards her and took a sniff . His eyes sparkled up instantly , he spoke up , " I knew it , you are no ordinary woman , your scent ....your scent is different . I know this scent....." , he took another sniff .
Enilese was feeling disgusted . She was trying to push the man far from her but he was too strong for her .
She continued struggling when suddenly a strong putrid smell hit her nostrils . She covered her nose and looked at the man and her eyes became wide in shock .
The person in front of her who was a simple looking man a few moments ago was now standing in a totally different appearance ..... His skin had turned to bluish white as if his body had just been taken out from a morgue ..... his eyes were still and hollow ..... and his sharp fangs ... they were glistening in an extreme cruelty .
" You are one of them !!!! " , she muttered subconsciously .
The creature didn't reply , he just let out a devilish laughter .
Enilese greeted her teeth and asked " What are you ? " , the creature still didn't say anything .
" Answer me . " , she said again .
He chuckled and spoke up , " It's complicated ..... Just remember that I am much more than any other creature , you can think of ... and you know what ? With your blood I'll be more powerful ...."
" What are you talking about ? I helped you some times ago and you're trying to harm me ? " , she cut him off .
" Don't you think , you've helped a wrong one ? And sorry , I didn't learn to return favours ..... your scent is mesmerising .... I want to taste your blood , I can't wait any longer ... " , with that he advanced toward her neck .

Enilese was trying so hard to free herself from him but his grip was very strong . She was sure that she won't be able to stop him for long . She regretted saving the person or should we say , the creature .
She was feeling helpless when the creature abruptly stopped . She looked up and her eyes caught something .... the black hooded figure , from some time ago , has appeared again and was standing in front of them . Her focus shifted from the creature to the hooded man just for some seconds and the creature instantly took the chance and grabbed her neck . Enilese started struggling again . She thought , seeing the hooded man the creature would probably run away but he has some other plans . He was trying to use her as a shield .
It was extremely hard for her to stop the creature , still She has been trying with all her might . But at a point she lost her strength , the creature held both of her hands behind her and spoke up to the hooded figure , " You can't do anything to me anymore . Even if you use your power it won't be able to cross her and touch me . "
The hooded figure neither spoke up nor move a bit , he continued standing still .
The creature came close to her neck and whispered to Enilese , " With your blood , I'd be invincible . Thank you young lady , I'll always remember your sacrifice ...."
Enilese looked at the hooded figure helplessly , the man still showed no sign of doing anything . We cannot really say , what she was expecting him to do , didn't she know that the dark souls care least when it comes to people ... did she think that he would help her and that too after her intervention in his actions ? But ..... did she really want his help ? We cannot know . She looked down .
Previously , she didn't use her powers against the hooded man , not even when she stopped his burning hand .... actually she didn't want to use her powers in front of a Dark Soul member because if he came to know that she was from Angel base , the situation would've been more problematic . Now that the situation got completely out of control she found no other way except for using her powers but she soon realised that her powers weren't working anymore . She sighed in despair .
The creature looked at the hooded figure and was going to sink his fangs on her neck as if mocking him . The hooded man smirked a little and there appeared several bright red flames around his hand . Anyone could tell that the flames were more powerful than before .
" Oh , so you are trying again ? Not bad , try as much you want ... it's not going to work anyway . " , the creature said .
Enilese quivered a little , interestingly enough , the amount of confidence the creature had on her , she herself didn't have even an ounce of it . It would be wrong to say that she wasn't scared . She didn't know why the flames didn't hurt her previously , but she had a feeling that this time she won't be able to survive the dangerous looking flames . On the other hand , the man was holding her very tightly , his fangs were dangerously close to her skin . Before she could come up with anything the hooded figure led those flames towards them . She could only see the bright red flames before closing her eyes tightly .

The next thing , Enilese heard , was the loud scream of the man behind her . She opened her eyes and the first thing she noticed was that she was not on fire . The man , behind her , was screaming his heart out . She turned a little and saw that his entire body was wrapped in the flames even his hand that was holding her neck was also burning but to her surprise the flames didn't touch her skin even the slightest bit . In some seconds the man's burning body vanished in the air , without leaving anything behind .
Some moments of silence .
Enilese's mind was blank , she touched her neck unconsciously where a burning hand was present a few seconds back . She got up from the ground slowly . There was too much for her to process , she just stared blankly at the man before her .
The hooded man didn't wait any longer , he turned around and retreated towards who knows where .
