To Saigo all the events after that were a blurr as if he's awake but sleeping. When he snapped out of that daze he was surprised to find him self in his den. Their are voices outside and laughter he wasn't tired so he decided to get up but he couldn't when he finally felt something moving. To his surprise he found a baby wrapped in his tail peacefully sleeping his stirring almost woke it up. "Hey guys he's finally awake," the tank motions tor every one to come closer "you were out for a bit man and that baby wouldn't let go of your tail not even for keys or a squirrel."
'Robert(the squirrel) showed up he knows hes not allowed here any more after that prank with the fish he better not still be here' Saigo growls to himself. "Now than down to business we can't just leave this child with this wolf can we no matter him willing to raise her or not any ideas?" said one of the adventurers
After a long debate they decided to allow him to keep the child but check up on them daily to be sure that she is healthy.
17 years later
In a town near the edge of the forest we see a familiar wolf walking with a teen age girl in toe. "Dad why are we here?" ,the teenager huffs "Like I said I think it's about time you joined human society." Saigo was very insistent, "I'm not saying that you need to socialize but I need you to at least experience human society if we want that dream of yours to come true." Understanding the girl imagines what school with other humans will be like it may be only one year but she can't wait.
Currently they are heading to the local school to get the girl enrolled. By now the townspeople were used to him and his daughter being around they even named him the town pet to keep them from adventures. Of course it wasn't always sunshine and rainbows every once in awhile a rich noble or new adventure group would come by and consider him a threat or a nuisance. The adventures are very easy to convince they would just fake some kind of attack or battle and have Saigo as the hero. The nobles on the other hand were smarter or greedier who would know what would happen sometimes the noble noticed how Saigo was acting and lost interest, sometimes he would have to fake a death, or their daughter would come to the rescue like now.
"Father this wolf clearly means no harm and seems to be smart enough to follow the law so what's the use of killing him?" at this point Saigo is so used to it that instead of noticing the conversation he's busy laughing at his daughters 'oh no she's hot' face. "Maria dear it is unsafe to have such a horrid beast near a school" comments the noble. Snapping out of her stupor. "With all due respect my father is not some beast he may be a wolf but he is more humane than many humans I've seen" she points at Saigo who is now biting his foot in boredom. "Your father my word what kind of loon are you or is it your mother that needs a trip to the asylum!" the noble
exclaimed, at that instant Saigo with a sharp look in his eye drops his foot and commands "SIT" upon hearing that the noble immediately stops and sits like a dog.
