Inconsistant novel updates is killing good novels. Although daily updates are the best, they are no be all and end all. Updates should be constant, always updated on the same days and time. Not the random thing that is happening with most novels currently. Contracted authors who go on random and unnecessary hiatuses should have their books dropped form this status. A lack of income even if its on the side wold encourage athours to make a decision. Either continue or drop the book completly not just float about in the air, and the reades not know where the wind will blow.
