Chapter 1 - Prologue: Fairytales and Gods

The moon was as beautiful as ever with the glittering stars all around it and a little boy with snow-white hair was dressing up and getting ready for bed.

"Are you ready for bed Mordred?" A beautiful short black-haired lady said as she was standing at the corner of the room.

"Yes lady Trisha I am ready for bed but before we do can you tell a bedtime story before we do like mom always did." the white-haired boy said excitedly.

"I guess we have some time before it's exactly bedtime for you, so I'll tell you a short story, a story about the coming of our world." She then walked to the boy and sat beside him on his bed. Prologue: Fairytales and Gods

"Alright," the boy yelled happily.

"Thousands of Millennials before the birth of the Universe, they only lived Chaos but very soon enough 4 divine beings were born from it. Three of these beings were Deities while the 4th one was not a being but an egg, the cosmic egg or divine egg whatever you use to call it, after the deities were born they already knew who they were and the purpose of the egg. The three Deities watched over the egg till it hatched and when it did the world tree sprang forth carrying the 9 worlds on its branches and the Universe was then born and so were many other Deities and Gods but could not be compared to the First 3 Deities. This was when the age of the Gods began and the Gods dwelled in the mortal worlds with us, leading, teaching, and even fighting the worthiest among us. Two Millenniums pass as the gods dwelled with us and with their help we evolved and form our civilizations eventually, the Age of the Gods ended, and the Gods returned to the Heavens and left the mortal realms in our care ."

"But Lady Trisha why did the Gods leave us, did they not care for us anymore, did they abandon us," A little boy with white hair, sitting right beside the storyteller said with a curious tone.

"My child the Gods did not abandon us"

"They didn't"

"Yes, they didn't as they left us with a gift, a divine gift, the Divine Crest" The lady raised her hand and revealed a black mark on her arm, an Egyptian eye with a sun below it. "The divine crest is marked embedded on our body as a symbolism of the God we worship and gives us strength."

"So they didn't abandon us, but Lady Trisha why have I not got a divine crest yet, doesn't everyone get them,"

"Yes everyone gets them but some don't receive it immediately after birth and are late bloomers like you,"

"So I will get one, when, when will I get one!" the little boy said excitedly.

"Soon enough little one, just be patient and you'll get yours, how are you now 6 years old"

"Yea I'm turning 7 in 7 months."

"That's good the longest it has taken someone to gain a divine crest is 8 years, you still have time," The lady said with her finger next to her lip.

"All right, I can't wait to get mine then I'll become an Epic warrior and be blessed by the God Zeus!" the boy said excitedly with his hand in the air.

"Hold your horses little one, don't dream too big."

"Why not!"

"Zeus is one of the greatest Gods even among the top 10 that is second to the First deities and very few are blessed with a divine Crest by him."

"Is that so, ok also which god is your divine crest from Lady Trisha"

"Mine, my divine crest is from the Sun God Ra, I am one of his children!" The lady said proudly.

"Wow! That's cool, I can't wait to see what god I serve."

"Neither can I Mordred, and now it's time for you to go to bed."

"Why so quickly, things were getting so fun," the boy said with a sad expression.

"No excuses, I promised your mother to follow all the rules she set for me when she said I could take care of you when she comes back, and she returns tomorrow so you better get a good night's rest to see her bright and early in the morning." She said smiling at the child.

"Ok, I understand good night Lady Trisha." The boy said sadly.

"I told you to call me Auntie Trisha, anyway sleep well Mordred." She kissed the boy on the Forehead as he was getting in bed.

The boy surprisingly moments after was asleep and the lady left the room and blew the candles off.
