POV: Alexis Rockefeller
Our class is so disgusting and my mind and body are tired. I'm gonna use my motor but it doesn't work. What the heck! What's the problem in my motor! I'd check my gas then it's still full tank.
"I think your motor has problem. It's better when you ride to my motor. I'll take you home." I shocked when Roggen suddenly talk to me. We are here in the parking of the school.
"No thanks, I have motor and I don't know what's happening with this f*cking motor." I said with anger.
"It's better when you left that. Just call the mechanic tomorrow. Let's ride with my motor." He just said then smiled. I don't know but I just smiled too. Then I just stopped it and back to the anger face. I shocked again when he put his arms in my shoulders. I don't know but I have nothing to do but to follow him.
Roggen is driving and I'm at his back. The wind so strong, that's why I feel good.
"wanna eat?" Roggen suddenly talk.
"It's up to you." I just replied.
We are here now in the Jollibee. Then there are memories flashback in my mind.
"Mommy! Daddy! I wanna eat spaghetti and chicken joy!" I'm just seven years old that time and we hanged out.
"But baby Alexis Nanny prepared meal in the house." Daddy said.
"But I wanna eat chicken joy and spaghetti!" I said while doing tantrums.
"Okay then let's go to the Jollibee." My mommy said that's why I'm jumping in happiness.
"Thanks to your mom" Daddy said.
"Dad, we can only be children once." Mommy said.
That's true, when we are a child we are shallow and we can be happy even in the smallest things. I'm now eighteen and I have so many responsibilities to do and goals to be achieved.
"Broooom! Broooom!" Roggen is riding and I'm at his back. The wind is so strong.
"Wait where are we going?" I asked.
"Don't worry, you will see the magical place." He just said then giggle. He's acting like a child now. Hays, sometimes I don't understand his mind.
"We are here" He said then I mesmerized in what I see. There are lots of tall grasses, there are so many dogs, there are lot of trees and huts. The vibes is just like in the province.
He parked the motor in the side then we started to eat our take out in Jollibee earlier.
"This place is so beautiful." I just said.
"Sometimes I going in this place alone. This was called the "mega dike." Roggen said.
While we are eating, I noticed Roggen's eyes. His eyelashes is long and his eyes is slightly small. His nose is sharp and his hair is blowing up with the wind. I didn't notice that he is also looking at me now. I surprised when he placed his hand in my face.
"You're so beautiful" He said in low tone. I just vow downed then I feel the butterflies in my stomach. I tried to hide my romantic excitement but I can't.
"Don't be obvious just eat " He added.
"You're so rude and pervert" I just replied.
We are eating quietly and I think it's awkward so I started to talk. "For you what is love?" I just asked unconsciously. Roggen almost choked in what I asked, that's why I'm laughing so hard.
"I don't know also the girl group twice asking what is love." Roggen said then smile. He is referring to the song of twice (What is love).
"I don't have time for your joke." I said.
"For me love is everything." I shocked when Roggen started to talk.
"They say love is complicated, and yes love is complicated specially when seems like the destiny is against to your love to each other. But actually love is simple. Love is giving and sacrifice, if you really love the person you are willing to give your time, effort, and you are willing to sacrifice even your own life." Roggen said then I was so impressed by his intellect. He is smart not only in academics but in real life situations and philosophies.
"Why did you ask? Are you in love?" Roggen asked.
"No, I'm not." I just said. Then I asked more question.
"You mentioned earlier that love is complicated specially when seems like the destiny is against to your love to each other. What do you mean by that?"
"For an instance there's someone that really likes you but you don't like him. Then afterwards you fell in love with him but he has already in love with another. So it's complicated right?" Another example you two are really in love to each other but your family is against to your relationship. So it's complicated. But the important is you showed the genuine love. You fight for love and at the end you will not blame yourself cause you gave your best and you fight for love."
We are walking in we are enjoying the beautiful view of this placed called "Mega dike."
Then I took my phone capturing pictures of the birds, sunset and sea. Then Roggen blocked my camera with his face. Then we take pictures together. I'm laughing cause he is showing his ugly faces.
"Hahahahahahahaahahaah"
"You looks like a monkey"
"I have so many pictures with monkey. I think I have to post it on Facebook." I said then laughed.
"what the f*ck! Give me that phone!" He said that's why I ran so he chased me.
"Haaahaahahahahaha come on you're so slow chase me! HAHAHAHHA"
My heart is pounding in joy together with Roggen. Am I really in love with him? Or it's just a lust or infatuation? I don't know but I am very happy with him.
"You're so weak!" I said then we sat under the tree. We breathing deeply cause we ran. We drink water. Later on I try to close my eyes to nap. I surprised when Roggen put my head on his shoulder.
"Do you still remember the story of Nena and Alejandro during Spanish time in our campus?" Roggen suddenly talked.
"Yup, that's very sad love story that you told." I said then I looked at his eyes and smile.
"I'm gonna tell you another story. This love story happened during Japanese period also in University of Santo Tomas."
