Officer Vincent's POV:
My son Malcolm has finally come to talking terms with me. He forgave me for not showing up on his birthday. Well, I had to buy a bunch of comics books and action figures for him. Anyway, I am glad that my son is speaking with me.
I was so hooked up on my job and schedule that I didn't work out for the past two weeks. So I decided to go out for a run today. My son and I put on our running shoes and went outside the house.
Even before I could step into the street, my phone started ringing. My son got disappointed. Malcolm hates my phone so much more than anything else in this world because he knows that if I get a call, I will probably leave home.
" Daddy, please don't take it. We have to go for a run now," Malcolm pleaded innocently. How can I say no to his sweet request? But I am obligated to do my duty.
