Chapter 2 - SMITTEN

𝙃𝙖𝙣𝙣𝙖𝙝'𝙨 𝙋𝙊𝙑:

Cece was calling me from behind but I chose to ignore her.

I went inside the grocery store and she followed me there.

" You won't believe how lucky you are Hannah. "

I looked at her uninterested because I didn't feel like responding to her.

" After you left, Liam Eaton said that he would like to have you in his house for a night. And he is willing to discuss about your job too."

I was really mad now. "How many times should I have to say no? ".

" Why do you have to take this wrong way, Hannah? He is hot, you were smitten at the first sight of him. Just spent the night with him and use this opportunity to grow in your career."

" Why?? Aren't there no other girls in LA ? Why does he offer a job for me? I have not even completed my work and even if it's in exchange for sex, there are so many hot girls in LA. ". I questioned Cece.

" I think maybe you are not over your ex-boyfriend Harry. That's why you are not accepting the offer.".

This hit me hard. It's been six months and I'm still not over it.

Well, it broke my as heart as I thought he was the one I would end up with but he turned out just to be the wrong person.

Maybe Cece is right. I should stop thinking about romance. I should enjoy my life first and move on.

" Fine, I'll do it. "

Cece was happy and hugged me. " I'll inform my boss about it. " She said and went outside the store again to call her boss.

After that, I realized something. He is such a handsome guy and I'm having a one night stand with him. What if I wanted more than that with him?

I need to stop overthinking. I give too much importance to this romance and it takes out all the fun in my life.

I can be stone-hearted for at least one day and have fun.

𝘾𝙚𝙘𝙚'𝙨 𝙋𝙊𝙑:

" Liam, she agreed to it. " I said eagerly to him.

"I know she would," he replied lazily.

Oh come on Hannah, you can't let your guard down like this. You must win his heart and make a good impression. What happened now wasn't favorable for the situation.

Hannah was completely smitten by Liam and didn't take her eyes off him for a moment. She falls for handsome guys easily.

Well I can't blame Hannah for this, he is a very attractive guy but I am on a mission here and I want it to be perfect.

"She is a terrific girl, loyal, and daydreamer. Perfect for you. You should get to know her even more than one night" I said to him.

" Let's see about it, now I'm expecting her tomorrow night in my room."

" And I told her that you were offering her a job as a scriptwriter for your next movie. Play along with it. "

He chuckled a little. " Seriously? And she bought it? "

" Yea. But it's good for you. You needed an innocent girl like her, right? "

"Yea, I'll say that by tomorrow. " He hung up the call after that.

I have very little time than I thought. I should get her ready and completely presentable for Liam.

Playing matchmaker between Liam and Hannah is a plan which I came up with just one week ago. Liam is now tired of escorts and strippers.

He wants to get married now as he needs an heir for his Drug empire. He doesn't want to marry someone involved in gangs. He needs a sweet and innocent girl. I somehow convinced Liam to meet Hannah today.

I hope Liam likes Hannah by tomorrow night. By that my mission will succeed and it will be the end of Liam's Drug empire.

Hannah screamed from the living room.

I went to look at what happened. It was Liam and Hannah on the news channel. I was standing behind them hiding from the paparazzi.

I made sure that I gave them both the limelight. That way they might get even more attached.

Hannah looked at me bewildered. " Look it's already on news. "

She sounded scared. Why is she making a big deal out of it?

" Come on. It's just a story for a day. Tomorrow everyone will probably forget. "

" What if my brother finds out about my location? I don't want him to come back into my life. "

She is scared of her brother now? Hannah says her brother Hector was very abusive towards her and she says he is practically a psychopath.

Her parents died in a car crash when she was young and it was her brother who took care of her. But she never told me what exactly happened with her brother.

And Hector doesn't seem like what Hannah describes. He is very caring towards Hannah, even after she moved away from him.

He gives me money every month to look after Hannah. But he made me promise that I would never reveal anything about it to her.

So in reality her brother already knows where she is living and he is already providing for her expenses indirectly.

But now she is making a big deal about Hector.

" I'm sure he will not find out Hannah. And even if he tracks you down, I'm sure he won't do anything to you. ", I said just to comfort her.

She shook her head in disapproval. " You don't know him. I pray every day that no one in the world gets a brother like Hector. "

This is her misunderstanding. She always exaggerates things. Anyway, now she has a date to get ready.

I need to focus on my mission right now.

𝙇𝙞𝙖𝙢'𝙨 𝙋𝙊𝙑:

I was in Eaton Studios now. The backstage crew was making arrangements for the next shot. I usually don't have time to come here. My supervisor takes care of everything.

My Eaton studios are built completely on drug money. It was established by my father just to wash all the drug money.

This is the reason why I am the secret Drug Lord of LA. But my last two movies were a flop and my business is in serious trouble because of assassins.

My rivals are waiting for my downfall now. They want me to mess up so badly. But I am not giving up yet. When the game is still on, you don't admit defeat. All I need is to turn around the situation to my advantage.

And I have just what I need to clean up my mess. It's Hannah. I just have to act nice to her and make her fall into my trap.

"Master, you can go upstairs suite now. Your escort is ready. ", Ricky said.

I went inside the suite and there was my favorite escort Roxy. I have had sex with a lot of girls but she always makes me go straight to the moon.

Her face lit up when she saw me and she pulled me towards her by my tie. " I heard you were dating someone," she said looking a little sad.

Looks like the news spread everywhere even after I denied to the press about not dating anyone. " It isn't true baby, she was just a pedestrian. " I replied.

" That's fine, but why are you in a rush to get married?"

Now, where did she hear this? Only Cece and Ricky knew about it. " How do you know? ", I asked seriously.

" Ricky told me that I won't be called by you once you get married. Is it true baby? You won't call your Roxy once you get married?"

That bastard Ricky has a big mouth. Even though he is loyal, he spills out some things mistakenly. He should stop doing this.

" That's not true baby, I'll never stop calling you even after I get married. You are the best I've ever had. " I said slyly.

" Me too," she said and started unbuttoning my shirt.

" Liam baby, why don't you marry me? I'll be a good wife to you", she asked.

" I thought you didn't like having kids. I want a wife and child. "

She looked disappointed. " I'm ready to have kids as long as you are going to my husband. "

" Listen, baby, you are a free bird and I don't want to lock you in a cage. I'm looking for someone who is willing to be in my cage forever and who loves me unconditionally. I just need a scapegoat."

She studied me for a moment. " You are right. I'm a free bird. And now come on let's have fun. "

I was relieved that she bought my story. I didn't say her the real reason why I'm marrying Hannah. Not even Cece knows about it. She is acting like a matchmaker and trying to set me up with her desperately. She is indeed doing me a favor.

But the truth is, I'm marrying Hannah for a reason and no one knows the truth about it. I didn't even take the risk of telling about it to Ricky.

As she unzipped my pants she questioned me, " Why are you even getting married? "

"I'm only doing this because it was my uncle's last wish. He wanted me to carry on my legacy. " I answered.

I just tell everyone the same answer that I an heir. And people seem to believe it. That's the funny part. As long as they buy my story, I have no trouble.

" That explains it ", she said as she got on top of me.
