Officer Vincent's POV:
I didn't get to sleep a wink at night. But in the morning I went to work. My son didn't speak to me at all when I got home at midnight. I bought him his favorite action figures that he has been asking me for a long time.
But still, he is refusing to speak with me. I get that I missed his special day, but he should also understand what his Dad goes through in his job.
I sometimes wish that I could just quit my job so that I can focus on my personal life. At the same time, I am not good at anything else other than being a cop. That's the reason why I am still in this profession.
I parked my car in my parking place and got inside the building. Today everyone at work was eyeing me warily. I doubt that they are mocking me secretly behind my back for failing my mission.
