Officer Vincent's POV:
I wonder why I chose this profession. I am bound to work as a slave sometimes. It is not like I hate my job. Ever since I was a little kid, I dreamed of becoming a cop. But I never thought that my ambition would come with enormous commitment.
Being a cop is not easy. It involves sacrificing happiness and good moments. Most of my days go just by working, and I am not able to spend quality time with my wife and son.
Today is my son's tenth birthday, and I should be in the home celebrating with him. But I am obliged to work today. My son begged me not to leave him on his birthday. But I can't do anything about it. It's not in my hands.
The reason why I am traveling on a deserted highway in the middle of the night is because of a stupid agent named Matthew Hannigan.
