On my first day as a new leader, my father introduced me to everyone.
"Alright, guys this is my daughter Mileena she will be taking over from now on." He said with a smile on his face.
"What?!" They all said I could see that my father was not happy about their expressions.
"I don't want to hear it! You report to her and show her the same respect you show me!" He said as somebody pushed through the crowd to speak.
"Boss I understand that we aren't a traditional gang but you do realize that she's a girl? She'll only hold us back or get us killed!" He said angrily as my father went to speak I interrupted.
"Now you listen here, pal I've had a lot of training for this nothing but train and learn the ropes of this operation, now I suggest you pipe down and listen or I break your knee caps," I said irritated.
He went from being angry to calm and sitting down.
"I believe you have it from here sweetie, I will see you at dinner." He said as he hugged me and left.
"Alright let's get started," I said with a smile as I looked over to the guy who was upset before. "You, what's your name?" I asked
He stood up nervously "I'm August ma'am." He said as I look at him closely
"Okay, August you're are now my right-hand man," I said looking away he seemed shocked finally speaking.
"I am honored, so what do you need me to do?" He asked,
"Well, we go over any new business, the patrols and times of the patrols, etc," I said looking around.
"Aright, well we have some recruits patrolling the warehouses along with some other things outside of town to make sure Drewcifer keeps his band of assholes in line and not on our side of the city." He said proudly,
"Well is he?" I asked,
"Yes ma'am oh I need approval on a few things." He said pulling out some papers,
"Okay, I will get these to you in about an hour, anything else?" I asked taking the papers,
"No rush and no ma'am, need me to do anything?" he asked headed to the door,
"Nope, but if anything is to happen you are to report to me, we will then take a few others and check it out okay?" He nodded and left leaving me to my papers.
On the other side of the city, Drewcifer and his gang are trying to find out who took over for my dad.
"So nobody knows who the leader is? It's probably August, Mr. Nelson does not have any kids Liam," he said pacing back and forth.
"No sir, we've only seen the recruits that were brought in." Said, Liam
"Well, then I suggest you keep a close eye out because Dwyatt is going to ask if we know." Said Drewcifer and with that Liam left.
At the King Pins humble abode, Dwyatt is getting all the information he needs about who Lewis and Nelson let take over. "Well, anything new on the front on who is in charge now?" He asked
"Well, all I know is that Lewis handed it over to his eldest son Drewcifer, but I still don't know who Nelson brought in once I find out will be sure to let you know." Said, Matt
"Good, you can go," Dwyatt said motioning Matt to the door.
An hour had passed as I finally finish up the paperwork August handed to me and made my way to his location handing him the papers.
"So anything new?" I asked
"Uh yes, some of Drewcifers' guys are snooping around one of our safe houses." Said August as I grab my bat "Okay pick, 3 people you trust, and let's go." I said smirking
"Yes, James, Damiar, and Leo you're coming with us." He ordered as we get into my matte black 2020 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon and make our way to the location. "You 4 listen up do not I repeat do not do anything drastic unless they do okay?" I declared as they all nod in agreement as I park getting out my bat over my right shoulder
"Afternoon boys, can I help you?" I asked sarcastically
"Nah baby girl this is none of your business, so go run along." Someone said as they walk towards the building. The guys sat in the Jeep waiting for a signal
"Maybe we should get out there with her." Said Damiar "No, you heard her." Said August
"I second that she kind of scares me." Said Leo as I signal them with my bat. "Look I'm only going to warn you one more time so I suggest you and your friends get out of here," I said smiling "Or what? You think you can hurt us?" Said, someone, laughing as my guys stood behind me.
"John, David I would not tempt her if I were you, this is Nelson territory and you're not supposed to be here," said August "Look we are just following orders." Said, John
"What orders? Huh? To forget the deal that was made and break the rules?" I scoff as I say this the one they call David walks up to me placing his under my chin and smirks "Look, lady." He said harshly
"No! You look, get your hands off of me and leave before I break your arm." As I say this he then grips my chin more roughly "Yo! Get your greasy mitts off of her!" Said August "And what are you gonna do?" Said John as he walked closer.
I smirk and look eye to eye with David and grip my bat harder and lifting swiftly as it connects to his family jewels forcing him to let go of me.
"Now get lost you pest!" I yelled as John carries David leaving disappearing from our site.
"We will go check the perimeter," said Leo.
We didn't find anyone else lurking around. As for Drewcifers minions they got back to HQ only to be yelled at,
"You got your ass kicked?! By a woman?!" Yelled Drewcifer
"Boss that woman is crazy! Everything happened so fast." David said back still in pain
"Who the hell is this lady?!?" Asked Drewcifer "We aren't sure, we do know she was accompanied by 3 of Nelsons toughest guys." Said, John. Drewcifer was confused at first.
"She's ballsy I'll give her that." He paused saying this
"You don't think that she's Nelsons kid, do you?" He asked
"I thought Nelson didn't have any kids; unless he had one nobody knew about. If she is his then a woman has been put in charge." Drewcifer smirked pulling out his phone dialing someone, they answer
"What?" Said, someone
"Dwyatt I have some very interesting news." Said Drewcifer with a smirk on his face "This better be good." Said Dwyatt "Well, it seems that Nelson has appointed his daughter as the leader." Said Drewcifer as he says this you can hear Dwyatt anger
"A daughter?! That son of a bitch!!" Yelled Dwyatt
"Yeah and she's tough, she got one of my guys pretty good," answered Drewcifer
"Did you get a name?" Dwyatt asked
"No sir." Said Drewcifer
"Then I suggest you get me a name and send her a message if she does not comply she will fail miserably." Said Dwyatt angered
"Yes sir." Said Drewcifer smiling.
