~A few days later~
(Y/N) POV
It has been a few days since the incident happened. So far, no one in the HQ know the full information about the incident and I want to keep it that way. I know the right thing to do is to tell people to ensure my safety but I don't want them to worry about me. Plus they have other things to worry about. For example, getting ready for the next expedition.
~Time skip to the day of the expedition~
~Still (Y/N)'s POV~
It was finally the day of the expedition and I was checking my gear to make sure that they have no problem. While doing so, I was waiting for my squad members to arrive. You guys may be wondering why do I have squad members? Well a few days before, commander Erwin allowed me to have my own squad and therefore, pushing me up from a cadet to a squad leader. Amazing right?
Anyways, back to the story, once I ensured that all of my squad members were here, we mount our horses and started to male our way to the gate. I could feel the heavy atmosphere of the new cadets. Makes sense since this is their first expedition and they may die. I vowed to myself that will not allow anyone one to die during this expedition. Even if it cost my life.
I tried to look around to see if I can find Levi and talk to him while we waited for the others to arrive. When I finally found him, it looked like her was in deep thought. I walked up to him and started to call his name but he wouldn't answer. After a few tries, I got frustrated and shouted his name right beside his ears (Reader-chan is so evil) which seemed to catch his attention. His face went from a shocked face to a angry face. He slowly turned to me and once I saw the anger in his eyes, I knew that I wouldn't make it out alive. I gulped and smiled nervously at him.
"Why the fudge would you do that?" Levi exclaimed, still having the angry look on his eyes.
" well, I did try to call you nicely but you were to deep in thought that you didn't answer me. So I got annoyed and screamed In your ear." I said, claiming down a little. After my explanation, I saw the anger vanish from his eyes and was soon replaced with his signature emotionless look.
"Why were you in such a deep thought anyways?" I asked him, getting curious as this is not how he normally acts. He didn't say anything and just shrugged it off. As I was about to ask him again, I heard the other members arrive and went back into my formation, deciding to talk to Levi after the expedition, if I make it out alive that is since I have a bad feeling about this. I pushed my thought to the back of my head as the gate started to open. Once fully opened, me and my squad members treated to ride out frost as we were palace on the front line.
~Time skip to the important part since authors-chan is not good at fight scene~
~still (Y/N) POV~
So far, we have not lost many soldiers. I have lost one of my squad members to the hands of the Titan but overall, that was it. I had my hood up to keep my secret from my squad members since they do not know that I'm a wolf and I don't know if they dislike wolfs or not. After killing my 25th Titan, I saw the red flare meaning that a squad is in trouble or needed help. (I don't know what colour flare means what so just go with it).
Once I saw the flare, I flew back to my horse and started making my way towards it, making sure that I have enough gas and that my square members are still behind me. Once I arrived, what I saw shocked me. There, in front of me, was a Titan but not any ordinary Titan. This Titan was regenerating every time someone cuts her. What even surprised me was that once of her hand was covering the nap of her neck, as if knowing that that was its weak spot.
I snapped out of my thoughts as I heard the scream of my squad members. As I turned around, I say the hands of the Titan reaching out towards them. Taking action immediately, i shot my hooks towards the Titan and was able to get on its arm. I immediately cut its fingered and jumped off, catching my squad member while I'm at it. Once I landed, I placed them down and leaned them on a tree that was a safe distance from the Titan. Some of them were injured and some were worn out. I told them to take a rest, letting them know that they did a good job and that they deserved it. I made sure that I had a medical cadet and a normal cadet watching over them.
Once that was arranged, I turned around and made my way back to the female Titan. Once I got there, I saw others squad members trying to tie the Titan up but didn't work out well. This seemed to piss the Titan off even more and it was able to break the rope and swinged its arm, knocking some soldiers, making the fly and hit a tree hard causing them to pass out. I decided to not wait Any longer and hooked my gear in the titans arm and started to run up on its arm trying to cut the fingers front he hand that was covering it neck.
I managed to cut four of its fingers and as I was about to cut the nap of its neck, the fingers automatically regenerated and was about to reach out to me but I active my speed power and was able to move away in time. As I was about to try again, I heard another sound and turned around only to be granted by a massive shadow jumping over me. Once I noticed that it was a Titan, I was about to kill it until I saw it's emerald eyes and immediately knew that it was Eren in his Titan form. I continued to hear more footsteps of horses and turned around to see Levi's, Hanji and Erwin's squad right behind me. I smiled knowing that I had help and whistled to call my horse.
Once my horse arrived, I mounted it and rode beside Levi. I gave him a gentle smile to let him know that I am alright. I saw his muscle relaxed and he gave me a quick peck on the Cheek before returning his attention to the fight against the two titans. After noticing that Eren was able to pin the female titan down, neck facing upwards, I immediately flew towards it to cut the nap of its neck while Mikasa flew towards Eren to get him out.
Once I cut the nap of the female titan, I saw a cadet with blond hair which I think was called Annie but she was covered i this blue crystal cocoon thingy. White some help form the other cadets, we managed to take the crystal out and laid it flat on the floor. Deciding that it wasn't a good idea to exam it now, we tied it to a wagon and started to make our way back to the wall.
Once we arrive at the wall, the gate opened up and we were greeted by a crowd of people cheering for as since we came back alive. Some people were crying once they found out that their child died but did not think much of it since they knew that their child dies to protect humanity. However, some weren't as calm as the others. Once I told the parents that their son form my squad died, they started to shout at me saying that I should've protected him and that I was useless at my job and should quit.
I tired my best to ensure that his death wasn't in vain, it didn't work out well and the father was ready to punch me. Since I was worn out and would injured, I didn't have enough strength to stop the fist and closed my eyes, ready to feel the pain, but it didn't come. As I opened my eyes, I was greeted by the back of a familiar short man, once of his arms wrapped around my waist while the other holding the fist of the father. I heard footsteps behind me and turned around to see Commander Erwin walking towards us.
" I recommend that you do not shout and hurt one of my members please. It was not her fault that your son died." Commander Erwin exclaimed. This however did nothing as the father reached his other arm out to grab my hair. He was able to grasp ahold of my hair and started to pull it. It did hurt a lot but I didn't show my pain. Once Levi notice what was going on, he unwrapped his arm around my waist and took hold of the father arm that was holding my hair. Once given a tight squeeze, the father let go off my hair and tried to push Levi off him. Once Levi let him go, he was taken by the military police. Finally they did their job right.
Levi turned to face me and checked if I was alright. I have him a bright smile and his eyes showed calmness as he hugged me tightly and led me to the infirmary to check my injury. Once the nurse checked my injury's and told me that I would me fine to leave, me and Levi made our way to Hanji office since they where experimenting and trying to find what the crystal like cocoon was.
After a long hour of experimenting, we gave up since we couldn't find anything but Hanji was determined to find out what it was so we decide to leave her be and went to our own bedrooms. Since I am a squad leader now, I have my own office so as I made my way to my office, a hand grabbed onto my sleeve and started to pull me. I soon realise that it was Levi who was dragging me to what seems like his office.
"I have my own office you know. I can sleep there from now own" I said to Levi.
"I know but I want you to sleep with me for tonight." Levi replied. I just sighed and allowed him to drag me to his room. Once we arrive, he opened the door and dragged me in, closing the door on the way. He lets go of my sleeve and threw me a pair of his sleep wear. I walked to his bathroom to get changed and once I did, I realised that his cloths we too big on me. I shrugged it off and opens the bathroom door, only to be greeted my a half naked Levi. My face turned red as a tomato as I ran towards his bedroom, slamming the door In progress as I heard Levi laugh a little.
I jumped in bed and immediately fell asleep, the blush not leaving my face.
-Levi's POV (finally)~
As I was about to put on my shirt, I heard my bathroom door open and turned around to see (Y/N) dressed in my clothing.
'She looks so cute in my baggy clothing' I thought. My face soon turned into a confused one as I saw her face turn bright red. It took me awhile to figure out why she was blushing so hard until I remembered that I am half naked. I let out a laugh as I saw her running quickly to my bedroom and slammed the door. I put on my top and walked into my bedroom, to see my cute little wolf sleeping soundly on my bed, letting out small cute snores here and there.
I smiled a little and made my way to my bed, lifting up the blanket and slid in, wrapping my arms around her waist pulling her closer to me. I felt her turn around and snuggled into my chest. I blushed a little and smiled. You may be wondering why I made her sleep in my room except from hers. Well, I only did this because her office was neat to Petra's bedroom and I grew scared because of what Hanji told me. I let out a little sigh, pushing the thought to the back of my head and closed my eyes, hoping that nothing bad would happen.
Oh but how wrong he is.
