I understood his excitement. I would be the same way with Warrior. I watched the bounce in his step as he put the tools away and then both wheel barrows.
"You ready?" I seen Joe turn to ask.
"Yeah, I am not sure how to change." I mentioned shyly off hand.
"Hahahaha," Joe laughed out right, "its as easy as changing your clothes!" He said with flare. As the words met my ears he was already the silver and black wolf I had first seen.
Tala popped in just then and aaked "ready?"
"Sure" I answered in my head. Still not knowing what was about to take place. I watched as an image of my wolf ran forward and leapt past me. When I looked around I seen nothing but the stables. My smell overwhelmed by the scent of horse. I turned my head to see Joe at the top of the trail headed toward the north gate. I stood back as I felt Tala take the lead. I heard our "woof" of joy as we both started to run together. the smells of cow, and other bit coming alive inside my nose. My eyes could the faintest detail like it up close and under a magnifying glass.
We ran steady north toward the Ruins the skinwalker had happened at. We slowed the closer we got. He turned and went to the enetrance of it. I was curious what would be left of the wolf Red had killed there. When we entered there was nothing left of the wolf.
"One who Remembers removed it" Lada said noticing where I had looked.
I nodded in understanding and realized that the fangs with the symbols of protection had been from that wolf.
"Let us get started. Please turn into a human so that we can see which element or elements you can harness. I suspect earth will be one based on events in the cave." Lada seemed to give off this different and more instructive vibe.
Tala took charge once again and I watched as the wolf I had been went away and that Tala stepped back into the grey space I had been. I was human once more. I always placed a hand on my pocket to see if the stone from Tvso and Isabel was still there. I looked at Lada.
"You are getting much better at that." Lada nodded.
I looked around to see that Joe had done the same and was human once more as well. He was looking at the ruins in wonder. "What a fantastic place." He breathed in awe.
I had thought the same thing until the skinwalker event had happened. I couldn't help but roll my eyes and sigh at his comment though.
"What is that for? This place is cool!" He glanced around.
"My last time here was my introduction to the crazy that is my life." I shrugged and sighed at the same time.
Lada added, "we fought a skinwalker, it's body double and a red wolf that had turned here."
"A red wolf?!" Joe's eyes flashed white for a split second.
"Yes, though not from any bloodline a golem of sorts. Leto created him to help me with the task of watching Lia." Lada informed noticing he was riled.
"Dumb question," I started "why did his eyes just go white like that?"
"It is my dragon form." Joe informed. "It appears when I get to emotional." Then his mouth snapped shut.
I looked at Lada who was looking at Joe in earnest. I could see they were having a conversation but one I was not privy to it seemed. I watched Joe blush and Lada suddenly turned to me. "Let's get started" She gruffed. "Lia, I need you to concentrate. I would like to see if you can grow some flowers here in front of you." She nodded to the ground between us.
"I will give it a shot." I shrugged. I looked at the spot she had mentioned. I focused on it willing a flower to grow. I didn't care what flower it was but knew it needed to be something.
I am not sure how long it was but suddenly a sprout started to grow. one small green vine edged its way up. I was excited, but tried to stay focused. The vine staryed to sprout leaves and other shoots started to pop off the the main one. A bud started to get larger while still growing up toward me.
