"I have no idea how to get that out." Red shrugged.
"Soap and water with the intention of getting rid of it." Lada said. She stood then, "I need to get going myself." Looking the way the wolves went, she added, "You will likely have these wolves around as well. So keep an eye out." With that she took off the way they went.
I looked at Red, stepping down off Warrior and headed straight into Red's arms. Our lips slammed into each other, hungry for touch. I could feel him almost crushing me, but I didn't care. I wrapped my legs around him wanting that closer touch he could provide. Our tongues dancing with each other and our hands grasping and moving with demand in mind. His hand cradle me, helping to support my legs staying around him. I was squeezing him for all I was worth. He was home, he was ok and he was in my arms. That was all that mattered. I could hear Tala in my head humming with pleasure.
It was the sudden paws of our Livestock dog plowing into us that woke us up from our entanglement in the middle of the road. Both of us landing on our sides. The fluff monster had vigorusly started licking Red's face. He couldn't stop laughing. I couldn't stop laughing and Warrior just stood there wishing he could roll his eyes.
Tala grunted "silly dog.." Her humming stopped as we had stopped.
I laughed harder. "It's fine, there will be more of that later." standing up to get Warrior's reins and take him back to the stables.
"I am pretty sure I earned an extra scoop of those yummy oats." He mentioned off handly.
"And why the extra scoop of oats?" I smiled.
"I didn't run when those wolves showed up." He puffed out a bit.
"Ahhhh, yes your were super brave for that." Scratching his neck, I headed back to the barn. I walked past Jay, Hooker and Butch trucking up the road. Probably a good thing that fluffy dog broke up our moment. Any longer and clothes might have been flying. That would have been an awkward moment for sure. I giggled to myself.
I got Warrior settled in his stall for the night, extra scoop of oats for being brave. I checked in with each of the others to make sure all was well. Once satisfied, I headed back toward the house. I wanted to make Red his favorite for dinner tonight. I didn't see the light on so I suspected he was down in the bunk house making sure the others were safe.
I started the wood stove and getting the meal prepped. Set the table with some candles. I changed my clothes, into something a little less work like. Not that it ever dulled his enthuisiasm or changed how he thought of me. No matter what I wore or even if I gained a few pounds (notoriously known for that during winter) he always enjoyed how I looked. I loved him so much more for that. He was a breath of fresh air in a life I had had full of rules and should be's. Heck our relationship was supposed to be a big no no. He was nine years younger then me, most of my friends started calling me a cougar because of it. His rational for it was he had gotten in trouble which made it take him longer to get here.
Everything was set on the table and the mood was the way I wanted it. All I needed was him. I was standing with my back to the sliding glass door. Lost in thought, I didn't hear him behind me. Sliding his hands around my waist and pulling to him from behind. I heard him smell my neck and my hair. I heard him groan in pleasure. My stomach started to dance in exictment. I heard my own breath catch a moment. His scent intoxicating me wanting me to turn around and devour him right then.
