When Fereydun became the king of the world he had a wish to rule the world with his children and fix all the problems that Azdahhak had created with his children as such he divided his Kingdom into three parts and he gave each part to one of his children. He gave the entire Greeks to his second son Salm, He gave Persia to his third son Iraj and finally he gave Turan to his first son Ture but greed take over Ture and he lied to Salm which led to them to kill Iraj and send an army to kill Fereydun so Fereydun ask grandson of Iraj (Manuchehr) to defeat his children as he was both old and he didn't want to kill his own children Salm and Ture. Manuchehr managed to defeated both them( Salm had killed himself and Ture was murdered in battle by Manuchehr.) and with that he returned to capital city of Persia.
The young and benevolent Prince Manuchehr entered the city from the grand gate of the city as he was riding his brown horse. He had and golden armor with white shield on his back. People were so happy as he was the man who had saved their land and lives from Ture and Salm army. Children were dancing out of joy , people giving gifts to each other and the streets were so crowded with people that there was nearly no way for the Prince to move forward with his horse. Eventuality the Prince reached the castle and then he got off his horse so could enter the great castle and have talk with his great grandfather the king of kings and the world king Fereydun.
The beauty of the castle was unmatched by any castle in this world as there was diamonds on walls and countless golden statues that were in the shape of each one of their Gods and not to mention all other crystals , pearls trees and flowers that help the place to looked like Paradise on Earth. The amount of golds and crystals in the castle were enough to make you question if they truly were that rare or expensive. Eventuality Manuchehr got to the main hall of the castle. The mail hall was so big and beautiful that I cannot put it to words it had 30 different colors and the throne of the king of kings was in Middle of the hall which was another beauty with in itself. Fereydun was sitting on his throne as Manuchehr entered the hall. Fereydun hair was white like snow.
Fereydun looked at his great grandson's face. It was obvious that Manuchehr did not want to tell the great king something important as Manuchehr kneed down in front of Fereydun the great king.
Fereydun: Manuchehr my child tell me how did the war go.
Manuchehr looked down and responded to the great king: O the greatest king of the world I defeated your sons Ture and Salm with all their army but...
Fereydun knew that Manuchehr was about to tell a bad news : but what? you couldn't not capture my sons?
It was obvious that Fereydun hopped that they ran away had gone into hiding.
Manuchehr didn't have the courage to look in Fereydun eyes: No my lord but the thing is that....
Fereydun: Manuchehr hurry up and tell me what happened.
Fereydun was full of fear he may wanted to his true emotions but he was bad at it.
Manuchehr: In a battle with Ture I had no choice but to kill him and Salm killed himself before we could capture him. In the end their wives and soldiers agreed to stop the war and they returned to their kingdom.
When Fereydun heard his children were dead even if they had killed their brother and tried to kill him too he go really sad that he had no idea what say he was sad for death his sons but as a king he tried to act calm: It wa..was obvious that this would happen.. so do not be sad about it.. youh.. did nothing wrong.
Somehow Fereydun did not understood that Manuchehr wasn't sad because he had killed Salm and Ture but he was sad about how Fereydun handle this pain Manuchehr understood how Fereydun felt about his children but it was too late.
Fereydun tried to act calm but it was to obvious: you had what you needed to do to save this ... I.
Manuchehr stood silent as Fereydun kept on going.
Fereydun kept on going so he decided to change the subject: so because of your bravery Manuchehr you will become the king of Persia and you will take your grandfather Iraj's kingdom.
Manuchehr was shocked: but my king I do not have enough experience to become the king small city and now you are asking me to become the king of Persia not just that but while both my parents are still alive.
Fereydun Took a deep breath: you have already proven yourself. You may be only seventeen but you are more suitable than them. (Manuchehr parents)
Manuchehr: but people in both kingdoms of Salm and Ture want my head after what happened and me becoming the king of Persia it would be dangerous for people of Persia.
Fereydun: no either ways they are going to try to take Persia for themselves so by you being the king that land can live for longer.
Manuchehr: but what if you were wrong about that what if I become like your children a man hungry for power or I become a bad king for people.
Fereydun with sad face looked the statue of his mother in the hall: I am choosing you on what I think is best option and your achievements and not a wishful thinking like my children.
Manuchehr looked up so he could see king Fereydun: my king at least wait for few day before you choose something like thi....
It was obvious that Fereydun was so broken after that news and Fereydun said: I have a feeling that I am not going to live for long.
Then Fereydun stood up and said: there is no changing it then.
And then he put his crown on his throne with a sad smile: Its paper work are done so you are good to go to be the next king of Persia.
Manuchehr : my king please how can I handle this with out you?
As Fereydun walked out of the hall with sad eyes and smile: I can't leave for ever you know I am already old enough how long am I going to live.
Manuchehr kneed till Fereydun left hall to show his respect. Deep down he didn't want to become a king but by not doing so meant that he had disrespected the great king so in the end Manuchehr accepted to become the king Persia.
Fereydun wish was for his children to work together and to create a world with out evil and corruption but in the end all his children got greedy and create destruction. Fereydun mourned the death of his children and he cried for seven days and seven nights none stop. He cried and cried day after day in the end blindness was fate of his eyes. On the 8th day his heart stopped and his life come to the end.
As such the with death of Fereydun all the world was sad even his enemies were sad for the great king.
With death last king of the world we have entered main part of this sad story.
